I love the performance of Nemo ,thought it's quite different from the music video.Nemo actualy lost all his wardrobe for Eurovision the week prior to the constest on a train ,so all the outfits were pretty much done on a schedule 😅😅

1. 2005 (my runner-up of that year & my favorite Eurovision rock-ish entry, a genre I generally don't like a lot) 2. 2017 3. 2007 (both robbed) 4. 2024 (very interesting genre mix and outstanding vocals, but I didnt like the staging/outfit) 5. 2019 (banger but a little bit basic) 6. 2021 (again stunning vocals, staging not so good) 7. 2020 (love it less than 2021 but it could have won) The next three I don't really like, I just tolerate them more than the rest: 8. 2010 9. 2011 10. 2015 20th century: My winners: 1963 and 1986. My runners-up: 1965 (Yovanna is a famous Greek singer and composer of that time), 1972. Other favorites: 1956, 59, 60, 67, 75 (uplifting!), 78, 80 (Cinema and Theater in the same year!), 81, 82, 85, 88, 93 (classy!), 96.

1. Tout L'Univers (2021) It's such a spectacular entry! Gjon's vocals are out of this world and the whole staging and performance was quite simple, but very effective. This would have won in a weaker year. 2. Répondez-Moi (2020) An other amazing song! I think this would have been one of the favorites to win in 2020. It's more of a ballad than his 2021 song. 3. Cool Vibes (2005) Pretty cool having an Estonian rock band representing Switzerland and finally getting a great result after some bad years 😊. This song is awesome and i believe it was one of the first pure rock songs in Eurovision. 4. Time To Shine (2015) Very underrated and also very robbed!. It finishing on last place of the semifinal is a mystery to me. I think this is a great song and an overall solid performance by Mélanie René. 5. The Code (2024) A deserved winner of 2024, even though i wanted Croatia or France to win 😊. It's a great song and Nemo performed very well. 6. Il Pleut De L'Or (2010) A bit of a guilty pleasure of mine 😊. I think it's very underrated and very good. The overall staging and performance is good and it fits the song very well. 7. Watergun (2023) I think it's a good song and i like the lyrics. The overall performance and staging is great 😊 Remo sings very well. 8. In Love For A While (2011) I think it's a very cute and pleasant song.. can understand why it finished last.. it wasn't that strong of an entry. Anna Rossinelli has a pretty voice and i think she performed very well despite the poor result. 9. The Highest Heights (2009) It's slightly underrated and a pretty good rock song. I agree that the singer's vocals are weak and i would've ranked this entry higher if he had a better voice. The sound of this song reminds me a bit of songs similar to a rock band from my country Sweden.. the band's name is Kent. 10. Era Stupendo (2008) It's a pretty good rock song, but unfortunately just like 2009 the singer's vocals are a bit weak. I have read somewhere that apparently this song was one of the favorites to win in 2008. My favorite Swiss entries in the pre-2000's are 1971, 1981, 1982, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1997. Their entry in 1989 was sung in the Romansh language, Switzerland's least spoken official language. It's also their only entry in Romansh.

In the 69 contest Spain had to get outside help from Germany or the UK since the contest had to be available in color and Spain was behind (I think ironically the 69 contest was in black and white for Spain's broadcaster)

It was super hard to rank my country Sweden.. i had to leave many good songs outside of my top 10. 1. When Spirits Are Calling My Name (2000) This is amazing! I have enjoyed this song since i was a kid.. though the Swedish version of the song is better 😊. I love the performance from start to finish. I really enjoy the tribal, pagan sound of the song.. the staging is great and it suits the song very well. This song is one of the best host entries in my opinion. 2. Hold Me Closer (2022) It's an other amazing song 😊. Cornelia Jakobs wasn't a well known name here in Sweden before she participated in Melodifestivalen.. her father Jakob Samuel, who is a singer in the glam rock band The Poodles has participated in Melodifestivalen a couple of times before. The overall staging and performance of the song is quite simple, but it works 😊. Cornelia Jakobs sings very well and i really like her voice. 3. Euphoria (2012) This is so much better than Tattoo, even though that song is good too 😊. I think the overall performance, choreography and staging was world-class. A deserved winner!. 4. Voices (2021) I think this is a great song and it's very underrated! Good lyrics as well. Tusse sings and performs very well..The 14th place was deserved, as it wasn't as strong as many other songs in 2021. Tusse, whose full name is Toussaint Chiza was born in The Democratic Republic of Congo and he came to Sweden alone as a refugee when he was 8 years old. He won the Swedish Idol in 2019. 5. La Voix (2009) This song is great and it deserved better than 21st place for sure. I remember that this song was nowhere near being one of the favorites in Melodifestivalen.. it was a huge upset that it won Melodifestivalen. I really enjoy the mixture of opera and pop in this song. Malena Ernman is more known for being the mother of Greta Thunberg nowadays. 6. Tattoo (2023) A very good song, but not as good as Euphoria. The performance and staging is world-class as well. 7. It Hurts (2004) A bit of a guilty pleasure of mine.. and again, the Swedish version is better 😊 the song is very good and the performance was quite memorable but still pretty good. Lena Philipsson participated in Melodifestivalen a couple of times in the 80's.. I believe she finished on 2nd place two times and on 3rd or 4th place one time. 8. Too Late For Love (2019) It's an underrated and a very good song. Nice seeing The Mamas as the backing singers. An overall solid performance by John Lundvik and The Mamas. John Lundvik is rumoured to make a comeback to Melodifestivalen in 2025. 9. Undo (2014) It's a very pleasant ballad 😊 the staging was simple, but it worked. Great vocals and a solid performance by Sanna Nielsen. 10. Never Let It Go (2002) This song is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine as well. This group Afro-Dite was our first black representatives in Eurovision. The song is a bop and i enjoy the disco vibe of the song. My favorite songs in the pre-2000's era are 1958, 1968, 1969, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1996, 1997 and 1998. The song from 1997 is an other guilty pleasure of mine 😊. 1996 is a very beautiful song with an ambient feel to it.. i would've ranked it high on my top 10 list. it does kind of sounds like a Christmas song now that you've mentioned it 😊. The man Peter Grönvall, who plays the piano is the oldest son of Benny Andersson from ABBA. Sweden was a bit of a rebel in 1965 with the whole singing in your native language thing.. If Sweden's song Absent Friend in 1965 was in Swedish they would have competed with the swedish version of the song whose name is Annorstädes Vals.. which means something like A waltz from elsewhere or A waltz from a different place.. Annorstädes is a pretty old swedish word and we don't use it so much nowadays. The singer from 1968 didn't wear a wig, it was his real hair 😊 but i can see why it looks like a wig though. The song Boogaloo from 1987 is more known as Fyra bugg och en Coca-Cola, but the songwriters had to change the song title and some of the lyrics because it is against Eurovision's rules to sing about companies.. Just like Valentina Monetta and her Facebook song. The group The Nova from 1973 had to change their group name in order to compete in Eurovision.. because their actual group name was Malta. They had to change in order to not confuse everyone with the country Malta.. but it didn't really matter in the end as Malta didn't compete in 1973. I have listened to all of Sweden's songs in Eurovision mostly in full and i think the only songs i really dislike are Beatles from 1977 and Las Vegas from 2005. 1977 has good instrumentation, but the lyrics are bad.. it's like a tribute to The Beatles.. Not that i think that The Beatles were bad or so, they were far from bad of course. I have read or heard somewhere that The Beatles themselves didn't like the song. 2005 is just bad all across the board in my opinion. The twins Marcus and Martinus are our first foreign representatives as they are from Norway 😊 You mentioned about the word Kärleken in the video.. It is a plural of the word Kärlek. Kärlek means love and Kärleken means the love 😊

Tryna be as objective as possible (I'm Greek-American but I have lived in France for more than 20 years!), here is my ranking: 1. 2023 (iconic Queen!) 2. 2017 (underrated) 3. 2005 (even more underrated) 4. 2016 (by far my favorite French male singer) 5. 2020 6. 2011 (I have written French lyrics for this one 😂) 7. 2024 8. 2021 (I know these 2 are very popular in and outside France but they both scream a little bit too much imo) 9. 2009 (more screams but powerful lyrics) 10. 2003 My favorites from last century are 1985 and 1995. Also like: 1962, 63, 70, 72, 78, 79 (although I prefer her 1973 winning entry with Luxembourg), 83, 88, 97, 98.

I am a F-Anna-tic 😅 ) 3. 2019 (sooo robbed) 4. 2021 5. 2020 6. 2008 (maybe doing some favor here, but for us Greek-Americans she will always be "our gurl"!) 7. 2015 (that voice! ) 8. 2014 (also robbed) 9. 2012 (guilty pleasure) 10. 2004 (definitely not as good as 2009, although very catchy). 11. 2001 12. 2017 13. 2005 (amazing energy but aweful lyrics) 14. 2007 15. 2022 My 2 big faves from last century are 1991 and 97. Also like: 1974, 77, 79, 81, 89, 98 (underrated).

@@esc_victor08 As a "veteran" Eurovision fan (53 years of watching the shows!), I appreciate very much both your overall concept and the way you present your rankings! Some of my opinions about my own country's entries are unpopular, epecially here, for example I don't really like 2005 ( I prefer 2001 but not a big fan either!), although I celebrated Helena's victory back then (a "flag" effect I guess for our first win ever!). 2010 was not bad but a little bit "Zorba-like" or "tourist stuff" (Alkaios has released much better songs than that one). Same, more or less, for 2007 and 2013 (especially the latter was like an invitation to tourists to visit Greece lol). 2022 is objectively better both musically and lyrically but imo she screamed a little bit too much. Another year that made me feel a little bit sad was 2003: Mando is a very talented vocalist and a big pop star in Greece during the 90s, but the song was totally flat and basic. Finally, 2018 is also a special (and sad) case, because the staging totally destroyed a powerful ethnic ballad. Looking back to the last 2-5 years, the biggest grower for me is Stefania, both her entries are very catchy and uplifting and she has pop-dance star vibes in the Ariana Grande league or so (my son who lives in Ireland, where he works as a professor of computer science, often tells me that my taste in music reminds him that of his youngest students lol).

Other favorites: 1974, 75, 77, 79, 80 (my favorite entry in Dutch, a language that I don't like in general), 81, 87, 88, 93 (icon!), 98. No faves before 1974 except maybe 1969.

Spain remains one of my most favorite countries in Eurovision. 1968, 69 and 70 are my winners of the respective editions (I am an old man, lol!), 1961,1982, 1985, 1986, 1990, 1995, 2001 and 2024 my runners-up (my personal record!). I also like 1973, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2015 and 2022. They have had several bad moments, though, for example 1974, 1983, 1988, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2008 (atrocious!), 2010, 2017, 2020, 2021 and 2023.

1. Eaea (2023) I'm a fan of all of this! Amazing performance from start to finish 😊 Extremely underrated and it was robbed. The song is very ambient and it has that traditional spanish style with a modern sound to it 😊 2. SloMo (2022) It was one of the strongest songs in 2022 and it could have won. A world-class performance by Chanel 😊. This is very great! 3. Quédate Conmigo (2012) This is an amazing power-ballad with amazing powerful vocals by Pastora Soler. The song should have finished higher than 10th place for sure. 4. Para Llenarme De Ti (2004) This remind me of songs made by Ricky Martin or Enrique Iglesias just to mention some examples.. the song has like a similar vibe to it 😊. This is a great song and overall a great performance by Ramón. 5. Dancing In The Rain (2014) It's a pretty ballad and it has a great staging.. Great vocals by Ruth Lorenzo. The song is very underrated and it deserved better in my opinion. 6. Zorra (2024) This is a song that has grown on me. The singer performs with a lot of charisma and the staging was pretty cool. Overall the song is very good and it makes me happy listening to it 😊 7. Amanecer (2015) I recognized Edurne outside of Eurovision, because of her husband David De Gea. He used to play for my favorite football team 😊. Overall this is a very good song with nice staging.. Edurne sings and performs very well. 8. Contigo Hasta El Final (2013) It is a good pop rock song.. a bit underrated as well. It's a bit underwhelming in the beginning but the song gets better the more the song progresses. This is an other song that should have deserved better in my opinion. 9. Dile Que La Quiero (2001) It has like a similar vibe to the song from 2004, but just a bit worse. This is a pretty good song and it was one of the strongest entries in a weak year. 10. Voy A Quedarme (2021) It is slightly underwhelming, but i think it's a quite beautiful ballad.. a bit underrated as well. It's way better than his 2020 song. His vocals are a bit to high-pitched at some parts, but overall it's good. The song has good lyrics. 1973, 1977, 1978, 1982, 1986, 1990, 1995, 1996 and 1998 are my favorites from Spain in the pre-2000's era. 1996 is a guilty pleasure of mine 😊

Slovenia 2001 and 2007 are my winners of the respective Eurovision editions, 1999 my runner-up. I also like a lot 1997, 1998, 2009, 2011 (so uplifting!) , and a little bit less 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2014 and 2015. Unfortunately after that year their entries have not been so interesting imo (except maybe 2019), but overall Slovenia remains my clear favorite among the ex-Yugoslavia countries, ahead of Croatia. "Veroniika" was certainly better than their previous entries of the 2020 decade (I still don't get the hype around 2023), but I cannot really connect with this song, although I recognize Raiven's astounding vocal capabilities and I see why lots of people loved it (I kind of expected it to get a higher place at the Final tbh).
