You seem like someone who's in shape, still you sound a bit out of breath (🙂) , I guess it's out of sheer excitement over the bag... sure thing, you're a CEO... OK, I was just as excited by the price drop of this bag (coyote colour) and I bought one immediately, today. Not that I think the full price is too high, but being based in Europe, I'm paying aprox $50 for shipping and then they'll charge me for the import taxes as well as customs. So I'm ..actually paying in full. At the same time I'm more than thrilled to have finally pulled the trigger because this bag is a problem solver for someone like me. I'm a musician and apart from gigging I'm also touring doing workshops, I'm commuting with the need to carry along some bulkier electronic stuff than what fits in one of my (too many) backpacks or roller bags. The wide opening option and the overall capacity are also very important as well as the quite sturdy structure of this bag. Being a true nerd with these things, I could easily check the measurements of the bag against the stuff I'll be packing down, so imagine being able to have my mini guitar amp, pedalboard, cables, 2-3 days of clothing, tech pouch, toiletries and a laptop... I'm soo looking forward to start using it.

I think for me quality means selecting the correct material for the correct use case. But also the quality of the material you are using. So in your tape example the quality of the herringbone tape being used matters a great deal. Just my 2 cents.

This is awesome and makes me glad I got my Evergoods bag. That’s it. This is my bag forever now.
@rikuluoma378516 күн бұрын
In today’s world of hyper-consumerism, Evergoods brings the joy of material that will literally last generations. Like Kevin said, the products they release are not made and designed by following fashion-driven trends, but usage, research and simplicity. It’s easy to jump to a bandwagon of cool and new, but for me, buying products in 2024 is all about the story behind them. I personally don’t know these guys nor the crew, but what I can see from the videos and my own Evergoods-products, these are made with passion. Passion towards our planet and passion towards the consumer. I hope you will create untill forever! Best regards from Finland, our harsh weather creates the perfect test for your equipment, daily!

I've always been hesitant to invest in your bags, because while I love your designs, the limited wax canvas drops just were so much more appealing, and I kept hoping I would be able to snag one. Really excited for this change-- and especially hoping for the briefcase to make it to this subline!

Been asking for a roll top messenger bag for yearsssss! So cool to see the first version. Nice work. Can’t wait to see further developments in the Element line… V2 maybe add water bottle holders on both sides, a drawstring inner closure with a roll top that expands upwards for more volume and that can either fold over or roll up and strap down. Perfect.

Shoulder strap on this and the Transit Duffel are so narrow and thin. Seeing as these bags are about 3lbs when empty, it would be nicer to have metal hooks and D-rings instead plastic quick release for the strap, and thicker wider padding, as thick as you'd find on a backpack or like on the Heilkon Text Urban Courier Bag, it will probably be more sweaty but if you wanted style you'd be carrying by hand anyway.

I love a simple pouch sometimes it’s just what you need. Ad in the fact that it is waterproof and that it still has that E/G elegance the Element Line is coming along very nicely. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
@Images_of_threatАй бұрын
I ride motorcycles, it is my ONLY form of transportation ( except for those Uber nights lol) so when E/G released the Element drop in and teased that they were going to be experimenting with seam welding I was so so excited. I have a few bags made by Moto companies that are extremely Water resistant even a water proof bag, but they are not inherently bag makers so wile they might be super water resistant they are not super comfortable. ( !!! With the exception of Velomacchi they are fantastically water resistant and really comfortable !!! ) But sadly, they are no longer around. so I have been waiting for this. Cannot wait to try it out. I will also be eagerly waiting to see where the Elements line goes.

I find it interesting that EG is going on this journey of attempting this design and construction, which was pretty much perfected in the Bellroy Apex. There's problems that is inherent in this top opening design and Bellroy chose a different set of compromises and EG is choosing another set of compromises. I'm used to how Bellroy approached to solve the problem and it seems more elegant than what EG has come up with, but I respect the hustle.

$350 must be out of your minds. Use a £50 backpack. Get a trash compactor bag, put the stuff you want to keep dry into the trash compactor bag, put it in the backpack. It's old school, but it works and costs about 1/350th.. 🤪😂

Odd place to put a key leash. Seems very impractical to get to on the fly
@frankboyer1490Ай бұрын
The priority is waterproofness which means that quick access will be different than on bags that are simply water resistant. I wouldn't call it impractical. Lift flap, unzip pocket, done.

Great innovation as always! It is hard to design and build a simple and effective product with a clear goal. I wish I personally had more use for it, but as the product line expands I'm sure there will be something to add to my collection. Proud owner of a CTB26, MPL22 i carry daily, and all the CAP products. Cheers! PS- keep the beard its working for you dude!
