I just wanted to say that you all killed it on this new CAS 2 revision! 🔥👍🏻 The new buckle layout / adjustment points and strap keepers (along with the new coyote color) are all amazing upgrades. Well done! I’ve been hoping for a coyote brown CAS2 and low and behold… we got one!

the strap dangle is still not solved... I bought this V2 and I will find my own solution with the strap dangle.

I suppose the idea is to make a strap that will please everyone by offering both ways to adjust. Like you, I prefer the tri-glide buckle-it offers the luxury of size adjustment without the dangle. This is the first strap I’ve ever seen to have a tri-glade and still have some dangle! I’m not a fan.

Interested in seeing how this would work with a rucksack on the back and bra straps. Nothing worse than things digging in more than necessary. Love Evergoods! I don’t want to be negative, but am I the only one who found the ‘background’ music in this vid way too loud and distracting?

Looks like that would be a trade off to have the other benefits listed in the video.

Probably pressing on the bone but still better than fidlocks, but wear it lower or flip it to the other side and the buckle will be on your bottom rib instead, but then you got the tri glide up there, at least it is not a huge piece pressing on your shoulder.

@@shiveringisles3509 I grabbed one. It's bulky, but not terribly uncomfortable. Would have rather had the option to flip the straps. I can't wear the bag on the other shoulder, so it's stuck as-is with the buckle and strap keeper in a bundle at my shoulder.

​@@restlessmegsThe MHP solution works but also adds two bulky buckles on either side of the bag, and I don't feel terribly secure with it when it is on your back and there is a huge buckle there as a target where someone could easily unlock when you are preoccupied. I low key hate the big buckle/strap bundle look on the v2 too, that buckle bundle bunch ruins the clean sleek transition from belt to bag that the v1 had, bit nitpicky but yeah maybe it is time for the removable gatekeepers solution lol, but that's more an Alpaka thing.

The buckle is either in the middle of the strap for the old version or against the pack in this new version.
