Kinda off the cuff from this video, but I like the sound of the .105 string on the gretsch baritone. Would the jazzmaster baritone be able to use that same setup that you did in your gretsch video?

I wish someone would just make a full setup how to video on baritone guitars. Everyone just says what they did but not actually how to do it. I still got an 8th string that plays and sounds like garbage and I can't find a proper tutorial.

Should have bought the HB JA-Baritone. Much nicer and has contours and they did a great job on the guitar. The one thing is that they rolled the fret ends. Guitar is a monster

how high/low can you tune 0.74 gauge strings before issues start to happen on 25.5 SL?

Anyone know what the guages are for each string, like a break down of the individual gauges. That part was kind of hard to follow.

Man i want this, but also want a squire bass vi for double drop d And while i want this more then the bass vi, i don’t know if the .25 would make it too small for it or not…

i started playing nylon string accoustic at 4 years old, so by the time i was 11 i really wanted an electric with a distortion pedal. it was a bc rich bronze series warlock and a digitech grunge pedal and my "gear aquisition syndrome" didnt stop for like two decades 😂

Man, this is just a fun video to watch. Guitar shopping earlier this year during my Tokyo trip was a blast. A Bocchi pacifica strat that was not for sale taunted me often during my visits to Ochanomizu. Wind up leaving with a ESP Sayo M-II Roselia (not the cheap one) as my hallmark of the Japan trip! BIG BOSS is easily some of the best guitar shops I have ever been in. Also surreal seeing high end guitars (and actual inventory at that) in front of me whereas in Canada they are afraid of even letting you look at them. Japan is a guitar shoppers paradise!

Have you ever thought of just buying a pack of string joy strings? They have an option that lets you do your own custom gauges of strings and it cost as much as a pack of 8 strings does. Anyways Killer riff man! And awesome song!

Parco in Ikebukuro had the bass your friend was looking for, plus their staff know their shit! Also weird the Fender store didn't let you film, they let me film with no issues, one of the employees even used my phone!

I'm amazed that this is your first pedal! I'm old (38), but I love pedals and collecting them. I currently run a power amp + pedal setup and love it. Much more versatile than my tube amps as I can swap or simply add more preamp pedals to get a diverse range of tones. I do miss the feel of tubes when I play this particular rig though. Have fun with the blues driver!

I use my Blues Driver all the time. It’s my “always on” tone, because of university and playing in a lot of different places and a lot of different amps, it keeps my sound consistent. It’s not transparent AT ALL but it means i have my sound anywhere i go!

Wonder if anyone has rewound the stock mini humbuckers , I’m sure they have but although the full size HB looks great in it the minis with the giant pole screws are just synonymous with Gretsch . Still something cool about baritone’s with single coils and lower output pickups if you like the clank that they make. It actually looks pretty cool without pup rings though kinda gives it some Malcolm Mojo .

As someone who has just recently traded an RG for an Epiphone les Paul purely because of watching Bocchi, (not the actual black one yet sadly, but almost) I think its cool to find the stuff used in the show, and its fun to see someone actually doing it. Keep doing what you're doing!
