I appreciate Loathe's ability to make good use of the neck pickup. Such a nice round, but heavy tone.

Was just about to say that they don’t use it, but went and checked the Audiotree live… I’ll be damned lmao

this one is exactly how is played, tabs please!😢

Tabs are on Songsterr, and are very accurate note wise. I’m gonna edit it sometime soon to make the clean section towards the end more playable (the way Loathe originally play it), but otherwise it’s correct

surprised you didnt use erik strat for this lol. official loathe tabs when? (i need OFFICIAL ones desperately)

There are very accurate tabs on Songsterr for this song already, but I agree in general. Good tabs for them are hard to come by. Once University is out for me I’m gonna do my best to get their songs all notated as accurately as I can. I had good tabs made for most of their songs but unfortunately they all got deleted by a Google Drive accident 😭

Dude if you had Erik's strat this would be absolutely perfect! I know from your vid about how you were Loathe's tech that you did have the guitar for a time.

In other videos you've explained the Loathe tuning for guitar on this track (in my terminology it's in 6/7ths guitar tuning - ADADGB i.e. the lowest 6 strings of a 7-string guitar tuned to Drop A + Drop D with the high E string omitted. What's Feisal El-Khazragi got his bass tuned to - I'd guess ADAD - or is it E1 standard?

I’d love to know what you did on the helix to get this tone. I don’t have a Helix but I’m sure I could get there with my Headrush. Curious on the bass signal as well.

The guitar is just running straight into the front of my Blackstar HT5 and into a custom IR. The bass is running a blend of an Ampeg and a 5150
@Simmiffy Жыл бұрын
@@RaynP just the Blackstar and no additional drives or anything? On my Quad Cortex, I've been trying to recreate the tone from Audiotree where it seems like Erik got all that distortion just from the Hiwatt and I have to crank Gain and Volume to 10 to even get close. I loved that tone and yours is spot on. If you could elaborate a little on how you got yours, that would be super great. :)

@Return2TheLiving Жыл бұрын
This doesn’t, if I recall it might be somewhere in the B / A territory. A normal scale length PRS could not get you a full octave down by itself. You could maybe pitch shift your way down to EAEADG but you’d be able to tell unless you were only a few semitones off. Update : ADADGB I think
@RaynP Жыл бұрын
The guitar is tuned ADADGB and the bass is tuned ADAD
