verticality is why rainbow six siege was so unique compared to other competitive shooters. the destruction was a part of it ofcourse but how often in shooters do you shoot almost straight up or down.

I agree. Siege and CS are incredibly different. But seige has so much verticality that it reduces the impact of the gunplay.

idk for that nowaday i buy galil over ak cuz galil have better accuracy, no metter how galil not oneshot head and lower rof. AK with that low accuracy made thet weapon less effective than the galil, at least me. But in yesterday a guy on the enemy team bought a SG and i pick up that ad allso that weapon also better to me than AK

Elitism often could really away public opinion to something, right. Pro team's and most player's prejudice towards scoped assault rifles aside of the only just slightly more expensive price at the start is what held SG and AUG back, now that they know the potential they made Valve nerf both to the ground. And then there's the autosnipers

Valvo usually nerf gun that is too strong, rarely they buff weak gun. Fatso gaben is too lazy to even tackle cheater let alone make weapons roster more diverse, also there is another fact that cs playerbase is demented conservative, they won't use anything other than awp and ak47

Love this video. Would also love to see a similar video on the 2013-14 m4a1-s. It was so good when it first released that the pro's usage dropped to like 99% m4a1-s / 1% m4a4 by cologne 2014. The only pro that I can think of that stuck with the a4 during that time period was friberg. Literally everyone else was using the a1-s.

Lowkey they should just revert all the 2019 nerfs for the SG and AUG then rework the scope mechanic - Remove being able to shoot during scoping animation. - When scoping in, reduce the fire rate by half, so 300 rpm. - When scoping in, double the recoil instead of halving. - Improve/rework the scope graphic Price the SG at $3250 and AUG at $3400

@@n3bu1alowkey it could be a micro-niche to pick it up for a hybrid player who are dedicated experts like Elige. Maybe maintaining 1-2 scoped rifles on each team would be cool. A guy on T side to flash in and peek an Awper. Or on CT side to hold some positions.

There is no point in using the scope if the recoil doubled instead of halfed it. Maybe only to reduce firerate by scoping it and buffing to like 585rpm would make it usable again.

I hope they remove $1400 loss bonus for MR12 economy for season 2. The price should be higher since it should be a commitment to purchase basically the best rifles in the game. With this balance the guns would basically become the better "AK/M4" unscoped, when scoped it would be a budget auto sniper. Which is what Valve said they were trying to in like the 2013 patches.

@@n3bu1a yep, because no one bat an eye on it due to its price until Valve makes it cheaper and at that point it is no brainer to not buy it since everyone already knows the sg is objectively better than the ak , it is just didn't expect it to be that broken

it wasn't always that powerful. it got some buffs in June of 2013 and February of 2014. The version of the gun that was in the game at launch in 2012 was quite bad.

It should have its dps turned back up so that it can be a long range ak for peeking scouts and awps. Without it as an option, snipers are just too good at the non pro level.

Snipers are easily defeated by smokes, flashes and teamwork. If you engage in a 1v1 with a sniper in a longrange battle without utility or teamwork, ypu should lose.

Valve hates having to work on balancing their game, the “meta” is only Ak, awp, deagle, ma, and a1s. Those 5 guns are the only things you will see. Other weapons need more light mp5 and mac10 is intermediate guns which are great but we need other rifles that should be another option to the ak for those with unique playstyles

The krieg needs its fire rate buffed and armor penetration nerfed, that's the only way it can make the gun viable once again and not just a shitty rifle that no one (except for silvers) use.

I agree. Or take it back to its original stats but it can’t shoot during the scope animation. I feel that would make it more of a long range pick, instead of an all rounder
