How can you have an era while not winning most tournaments?? This is not an era. If g2 wins this major navi and g2 are equal on tournament wins this year, spirit is also 1 tournament behind. This would be the weakest era in history.

NaVi might play better than NIP or fnatic because the game evolved so much since but this is definetly not an era. NaVi just has been the best team so far and if FaZe wouldn't have slipped up so much NaVi wouldn't even be that. Their results are very good in this landscape but its far from an era that NIP and fnatic had. fnatic was almost unbeatable at times and even after their initial era had a 6 tournament winning streak when dennis joined for example. NaVis era in 2021 was actually one because they won the major they were favourites in and almost seemed unbeatable at times. The current NaVi plays really good and i like their aproach but they look far from unbeatable. All the teams who had eras in CSGO had that aura where most teams felt like they've already lost and even the best teams after them were propably unlikely to win and would be counted as an upset. It was a different time back than as the scene wasn't as competetive and the game not as advanced as it is now but anyway an era needs to be earned

Or if russia hadnt invaded ukraine maybe navi doesnt move elec to igl while boom is still there thanks to his idiot fiancee, causing major issues during navis eventual major loss to faze, karrigans first major win. and maybe navi has a multi year era instead of faze. you can always say what if.

Read some comments about people debating whether they're the best team ever or not, the simple answer is no... Astralis was the best team ever for its time and it probably won't be beaten ever... Also read some things about people saying you need the best player in the world for you to be the best team ever also wrong.. Dev1ce was in astralis and was always 2 steps behind Zywo0 and S1mple but yet their teamwork and team chemistry is still unbeatable to this day...

7:20 wonderful played in the rio major playoffs Also the major was a fluke, because of the way they played. No team is going to consistently win a major or s tier tournament with only 1 player popping off like that, as im and aleksi were horrible individually, and b1t was bad outside of the final. The way they win tournaments now isn’t considered flukey. Their defaulting and trading are much better. IM and w0nderful are much more consistent. They are by far the best team in the world, but in Copenhagen they weren’t. They were just the best team in the games they played. someone’s gonna be mad at me for this comment 😂

@@86gp I'd say yes, because this NAVI team is the sum of their parts. They push through using teamwork: no one overpeeks, solid protocols are in place, good timings and utility usage etc etc, which makes them less reliant on having a "star" player

Yeah, w0nderful definitely doesnt lack mechanics, just go watch a faceit game of his. The reason for his bad to mediocre performances is something different. Also, not having the best AWP doesn't change that theyre the best team, results wise and also in game. If you watch their games, they have a different level of cohesion as a team than any other team
