Hi Lisa. That looks lovely. During the (many) lockdowns, did you ever get the recipes that Disney put up so people could make their own Dolewhip (💕) at home? I bet your family would love them. I used to love getting pineapple Dolewhip at Disneyworld. The mango was very good too.

Hello …I saw you make this yesterday and tried it with 340 g chicken so virtually half for two of us. I did the parcel but in future will do it like you did as you can test whether it’s cooked a lot easier so a good hint . You mentioned that this was tested so I simply halved everything. Fortunately I added a little extra stock to make the sauce. A couple of comments. The amount of water does matter because time is taken to heat it up so if you have too much water time will be used to just heat the liquid rather than cook the chicken. In my case, I added extra water, which was a good thing, because halving the recipe would not work. Less time would be taken in heating the sauce in the bowl and it did, in fact, get very thick and even burnt a little so the amount of steam produced would also be reduced. . If you have too much water as you had, the sauce would be very watery if you used the right quantity of flour. I used carrots and they were not cooked enough in the time allocated. I think for this recipe in future regardless of how much chicken is used I will use the same quantity of everything and the same time and the only thing I will change is the amount of chicken if I wanted it for just two people. I will probably take the Rice out a little earlier if I was using less rice .When you think about it logically, it is necessary to have more liquid to cook the rice and make the sauce. I really think tested recipes should include better hints regarding halving or increasing quantities. I am putting this comment in because the end result was absolutely delicious so definitely needs to be cooked again. You didn’t include your end result, and I hope it turned out okay . 😋

Love your videos, great for learning new things I wouldn't have tried before having a thermomix. Can you freeze leftover lemon curd?
@enkisdaughter47956 күн бұрын
Not sure about that, but you can always stir it through double / thickened / heavy cream and, without whipped, the cream will thicken snd is delicious on a Victoria sponge. All you have to do then is scatter the cream with berries (my favourite being raspberries) then putting the top on. Tastes as though you’ve spent ages making it, when you haven’t.

The maximum time for fermenting or slow cooking is 8hrs. You would need to reset it after each 8hrs.

Hi Lisa I’ve watched this post twice (and gone through the transcript) and I think I’ve got the recipe right Ingredients - 20g Parmesan cheese, grated - 20-30g cream cheese - 5g lemon juice or apple cider vinegar - 0.5 tsp (7g) Dijon mustard - 20-30g neutral oil - Generous pinch sugar - Generous pinch salt - Generous pinch white pepper Method - Grate the Parmesan 10 Seconds / Speed 10. Pour into a small bowl and place to one side. Add the: - 0.5 tsp Dijon mustard - 5g lemon juice / apple cider vinegar - Generous pinch salt - Generous pinch sugar - Generous pinch white pepper - 38g cream cheese (approx 1/4 tub / block) - 20-30g neutral oil - Replace the lid and blend 10 Seconds / Speed 5. - Check and push down the sides of the bowl with a spatula. - Turn the machine to Speed 6, then add the 20-30g neutral oil gradually, until the mixture emulsifies. - Push down the sides of the bowl, then add in the 20g grated Parmesan and mix 10 Seconds / Speed 6. - Check for seasoning and adjust if necessary. - To make the dressing pourable, add in 15-20g milk and mix 5 Seconds / Speed 3. - Place in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes before you use, to allow the flavours to merge. Hope this is correct.

Morning from the UK Lisa. Excellent post, as usual. After I remove my bowl from the dishwasher, I place it, unassembled, on a tea towel with the bowl placed upside down. I leave it for at least an hour before reassembling. Made the Recipe Community Balsamic Fig & Apple Chutney yesterday and it’s now maturing in a cool, dark cupboard. It’s fantastic. Have you been notified by Vorwerk about the new Spiralizer, which is scheduled for release in 2025? The only posting on YT I can see is a Polish channel.
@TmxingAdventuresАй бұрын
Hello :) Yes, we heard about the spiralizer earlier in the week here in Australia. From what I understand, it isn't due until 2025 and is an added blade for the cutter. I am excited for it when it finally arrives.
