Hi Lisa I always boil my eggs in my TM6, although I use Cookidoo and choose 11 minutes for a lovely, “dippy” egg and 14 minutes for hard boiled. I love it - perfectly boiled eggs every time💕

Happy Christmas Lisa! Thank. You for helping me with my Christmas gifts - so many candied nuts with and without Christmas spices, packaged and under the tree. Quick question that I hope you wont get to until well after Christmas!!, but what onion jam recipe do you use? I’ve tried looking through your past videos, but could only find caramelised onions. I am assuming your onion jam is like a relish.

This is the recipe we use - sometimes with brown onion instead of purple :) Merry Christmas and Enjoy ❤ Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo®: Caramelised Red Onion Chutney cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r423446

So loved this video cos now i have another idea on how to use up lemons. Can’t wait to see your video on ice cream-i been making the creamy mango ice cream and wondering about adding alcohol to make it a bit softer. Perfect timing for me. Thanks, Lisa (my name is Celina)😊

Hi Lisa I made this before your youtube. Beautiful, thoroughly enjoyable. I did get a bit of discouraging on the very top but poured that off and the rest was fine. Haven't tried with soda water yet. Io9ol forward to icecream recipe. Julie
@TmxingAdventures19 күн бұрын
Hi Julie. What was wrong with the top on your batch - was it too sour? I think having accidently done a half batch at the sugar syrup stage might have given me a different (sweeter) final product incidently. I am glad you enjoyed it ❤
@JulieDoyle-f3l19 күн бұрын
@TmxingAdventures hi Lisa I did check on google. Apparently, some lemons leave a residue behind. So, hopefully, this is what has happened. Taste like the real McCoy. So I'm happy. The lemons were from my tree, which does not get sprayed with anything. Did wash fruit before taking rind. Love the mix shop peeler.

I am so pleased it ended up working out - it would have been devastating to waste that much vodka for it only to taste yuck. Hopefully tomorrow I will get a moment to make and film the ice cream - it's going to be really hot the next week, so it will be wonderful to have it in the freezer 😀

I thought you were doing a quarter batch.
@TmxingAdventures19 күн бұрын
Oh gosh, what have a done! Now you say that...I think you are correct - I started with a quarter because I didnt want to use so much vodka...then did a half of the sugar syrup...opps. no wonder I liked it. My memory of lemonchello as a 20yo seemed alot more lemony...this is probably why. Oh well...its still going to make a yummy ice cream.

Hi Kristine. With your Thermomix came a varoma. This is used to steam, with water in the bowl underneath :) I hope this helps.

Sorry didn’t finish. As we travel around Oz but often stay away from gen pop so does the Thermomix work with a generator? Just not sure if we should take it with us?
@TmxingAdventures20 күн бұрын
I believe a good quality generator like the yamaha3.0 will run it just fine :)

Hi Lisa from the UK. Thanks for showing this; one of my sisters adores fudge, so I’ll give this a go. I’ll be making the condensed milk today😁 For anyone else watching this, this recipe is from a New Zealand Thermomix Consultant. A tablespoon in New Zealand is 15ml.
