It’s a very very controlled pad, so yes for some people it would be good for cs2. Just depends on your personal preference. Generally people who play cs2 tend towards control or hybrid pads so it’s a safe bet a lot of people would enjoy this for cs2. Just depends on what you like really.

For what you’re getting for the price yeah it’s solid. If you have a few extra bucks I’d step up to the zowie or a Vaxee personally. Pulsar also has a new release at this price point. Thorn is very good though side buttons are probably its best feature in my opinion.

Personally I’m taking the thorn over a GPX every time. But the GPX has one of the most agreeable shapes of all time. If you aren’t an enthusiast, want to play it safe or don’t care about specs/weight and so on probably just grab a GPX and you’ll be content. If you want a solid ergo mouse with better specs and better performance grab the thorn, it’s just not as safe a shape as a GPX. It’s an ergo not an ambi so people usually either love or hate a shape like that very few people are just meh about ergos it’s always either love or hate. 🤷 Can’t tell you what to get just depends on what you’re looking for out of a mouse as the consumer. All that said. If I’m buying a mouse today at that price range, I’m picking up a zowie or Vaxee mouse in a shape that I like and never looking back. You will not and cannot go wrong with a zowie or Vaxee mouse and they have so many S tier shapes at such solid pricing it’s almost insane to me to get anything else. Want the best ergo? Easy ec-cw. Want the best ambi for claw? Easy za13-dw. Want the best safe flat comfortable ambi?easy vaxee xe. Wish it was a bit smaller? Easy Vaxee xe(s). You go to a Vaxee or zowie webpage they will %100 have a mouse that will be absolutely perfect for you and the build quality is tier 1 bar none. Just my 2 cents.

Keep in mind since making this video zowie has dropped tons of new wireless mouse and Vaxee fixed some of the qc issues that were common in there earlier releases. The scene has changed a bit. Still love the thorn, still think it has incredible side buttons but it just can’t match the premium feel and build quality of Vaxee and zowie. Regarding the GPX 1 it’s an incredibly agreeable shape no doubt about it but realistically it’s severely out of date at this point so unless you can get it for half the price of the others it’s not a valid option these days unless you just get it for very cheap and want to play it very very safe. To me the GPX is the white bread of the mouse scene. Like sure it works for %99 of people but nobody is raving about a GPX it’s solid for sure but it’s a bit boring and underwhelming. 🤷

Glad you enjoyed the video Sorry about your dongle glad LAMZU sent you a new one. I am surprised about battery life I typically went a few days between charges but I rarely play more than 5 hours consecutively and prefer the feel of 2khz polling generally so that could be a large factor. I’ll have to get mine back out and do more testing on battery life if you are having those types of problems I think it would be worth mentioning when I talk about this mouse in the future as it’s still my top recommendation for people looking for an ergo shape. I will say pulsar has some interesting upcoming releases and I also really enjoy the Vaxee though it’s quite a bit heavier. Maybe one of those could be a good fit for you

I run 4K nearly exclusively although while testing I switched between 1k and 4K I’d say it performs “as advertised”. As far as battery is concerned.

@dustinmihalcheon5013 id say 40 @4k polling is a fair estimate. Closer to 80h at 1k polling. Bouncing back and forth over the last few months having it I’d say charging it once every week and a half to 2 weeks has been more than adequate and I play about 5-6 hours a day so rough estimates I’d say running 4K expect 40-50h and 1k you could easily get 70+ in my experience. Polling rates the biggest factor for battery life so just depends what you’re running. If you love the sora you could just order a larger battery or battery swap from another mouse with the same pin out 🤷 could save you some cash batteries are cheap! Hope that helps 👌

What are you looking for exactly faster/slower more stopping power? Similar feel to the 4d? Gimme some info on what you want compared to what you currently have and I’ll give you the best reca I can.

Budget is also very useful, I don’t want to recommend pads outside your price range. Big difference between a good $25 pad and a good $60+ pad.

@@MeerTech_actual I would like a mouse pad that is close to the 4d in terms of feel and gliding properties. I live in Europe and it's complicated to get a 4d enigma. I have an unlimited budget.

@sonote5370 I see yeah so it’s challenging because the enigma is uniquely soft, low static friction and thicker than most pads on the market. In terms of texture and overall feel I’d say the closest thing I currently own is the pulsar es2 its fairly close but it’s significantly thinner but you could probably roughly simulate the thickness of the enigma by stacking the es2 on another pad 🤷 results may vary. The LGG Neptune offers similarly low static friction but again it’s quite a bit thinner and doesn’t have nearly the same stopping power and a higher glide speed but the pro version would be an incredible buy IMO it’s in my current mousepad rotation. The LGG Saturn pro is probably my top recommendation for anyone and everyone looking for a mousepad I’ve just never scene anyone complain about it really. But it’s quite different than the enigma it would lend itself to giving you the stopping power of the enigma but has higher static friction and lower glide speed and it’s much more textured. Probably one of the most universally loved mousepads on the market though, I’ve never really seen anyone displeased with a Saturn especially the pro version. That’s why I always recommend it. It’s a bit to slow for my personal taste which is why I personally prefer the Neptune but the Neptune isn’t as universally loved. Saturn is the safest bet. The problem is the enigma is so unique all I’m really able to do is recommend other good pads with low static friction and decent stopping power with mediumish glide speed. Nothing else I’ve ever owned or scene offers the same thickness and soft feel while maintaining the performance it has. I even reached out to some other reviewers, consensus seems to be this just doesn’t have a good clone anywhere that anyone I know is aware of. The enigma is a 1 of a kind as of now no good clone anywhere I can think of or know of. I know that’s probably not the answer you wanted but I tried my best to give you solid options.

I appreciate you watching Leo. Illmeister is the GOAT! The VV3 Pro has a lot of potential for people who enjoy the shape. Part of me wishes I’d gotten a good copy but even if I had it still felt huge in hand I have 19.5x11 hands so it’s not like I have small hands this mouse is just very big feeling so even with perfect clicks I think I would’ve been disappointed. 😪

Yeah, left and right there was play that’s pretty normal. I did not have a bump like you are describing though. 🚫 sounds like a QC problem. I’d get another one, if you really enjoy the shape at the price of this mouse anything less than perfection is unacceptable in my opinion.

That’s purely subjective. Two totally different mouse shapes one is ergonomic one is symmetrical. I prefer the deathadder shape personally but that’s just me. I’m not a big fan of any of razer mouse though they aren’t comfortable to me and I think they are over priced.

@thiefsleef6752 depends on the shape you enjoy. For ergo I think the thorn is one of the best offerings on the market for ambi that’s more of a list but: Vaxee xe or if that’s to big, Vaxee xe(s). If I’m honest I think Vaxee leads the industry for qc I’ve never had so much as a warped base and I have nearly the entire lineup on my desk. Sora v2 is a very loved mouse my copy had stellar qc and its feels very nice in hand Pulsar x2v2 or pulsar x2h I personally prefer the x2h but the larger jump is polarizing so more difficult to recomend to people. With pulsar you have to get the limited run colorways the black/white ones generally are more prone to qc issues where as the limited release models tend to have better qc for whatever reason. If you don’t mind second hand the my personal “main” is an sl12 Tenz edition which I modified with ULX internals, both the sl12 and ULX are the same incredible shape I just reccomend getting them second hand as they tend to have more qc issues especially the ULX. Finally I recently got the Akitsu the qc is just tier 1 bar none unfortunately it’s a bit small for my hand it’s roughly equivalent to a Finalmouse cheetah. For the average person and to my friends I typically reccomend pulsar in a limited colorway or more often vaxee that’s the short answer to your question as I am very confident the qc will be of high quality and they are generally very good about returns and helping with issues especially vaxee, but with pulsar you can go through Amazon which makes it equally simple. Hope that helps

Static friction on the zowie is higher, which means the gamesense is easier to make micro adjustments with. The dynamic friction and stopping power are quite similar overall. I think the gamesense lends itself to more precise games like cs or Val because it’s a very precise feeling flicky “headshot” kind of pad. But let me be clear this statement is made relative to the zowie not relative to my personal views. Relative to my preferences this pad is wildly slow!
