the preheat usages the power from the outlet not from the battery itself.

After you plug in the charging gun, the source of power used by the heating battery will be the charging pile instead of the vehicle battery. Including all the equipment in the car (screen, lights, stereo, etc.) will be powered by the charging pile, not the battery. Until the battery is heated to the temperature suitable for charging, the charging power will slowly rise with the temperature.

Usually that means you drove long distance before during which the battery should have been warm; even if not before reaching the car would have preheated the battery; and if you only drove a short distance , say because you dont have a wallbox at that means you had it on super low SoC before even starting to drive. Which is never recommendable, but esp not in low temps. So in short, if you end up in that kind of predicament, it is entirely self-made 😂

It's a wall connector, not wall charger. Technically its an electric vehicle supply equipment. The chargers are actually part of the car itself

Have you heard anything from Light Harmonics about their Gen 3 design and the difference between the Gen 3 and the Gen 2? .....also I have the Highland version now of the Model 3 and the subwoofer placement is in the rear deck but it (they put 2 subwoofers in the rear deck) doesn't sound as good as having a dedicated subwoofer box that was in the previous Model 3 designed sound system 2018-2023.........Any thoughts on the new design and how to mitigate that with some better bass? Thx

Since Tesla is upgrading their superchargers, can people buy the old superchargers and install it on their residence?

I would like to point out that all the videos about these types of brake lights and there's a lot of them don't mention one word about the view of the rear camera being obstructed quite a bit plus when the brake bar gets wet you see water droplets in the rear camera which becomes useless and also you see the brake light bleed into the camera at the top edge. That alone besides the reverse lights were a deal breaker for me. It does look really nice, but functionality on what all you loose is totally not worth it.

While we do not have this control over the Hertz in the Tesla, you will be able to see a wave that you can reproduce on the Tesla sound settings.
