Would you recommend this over air shocks on your truck? The cost seems to be about the same for air shocks vs the hitch. Seems pretty EXPZ compared to air shock upgrade as well.
@bccampingadventures16 күн бұрын
@@davesauerzopf6980 This hitch helps with expansion joints and other jolts you feel when towing on rough roads. Our truck is a 2022 Ram 3500 so it handles the weight well and still has firm and stable ride while towing with no air bags or shocks on the suspension. If you are meaning air shocks on the suspension of your truck. I would say these are different products. If your trying to make your truck feel more stable air bags or shocks will help more. If your trying to make expansion joints and trailer ride smoother gen y is my recommendation.

Nice work with the golf cart. When I installed my gen y, I set gen y in my fifth wheel truck bed hitch,supported the tail end of the gen y with blocks, and CAREFULLY backed into the camper. Great video, one thing I learned the hard way a long time ago using hole saws after breaking many holesaw pilot 1/4" drill bits which are not cheep. I just bought four 1/4" by 3" long HARDEN bolts, cut the heads off and after drilling the 1/4" pilot hole. I use my hole saws with the HARDEN 1/4" bolts with the heads cut off installed where the 1/4" drill should go. 1/4" HARDEN bolts do not snap like 1/4" drill bits do in hole saws and make for a better cut.

@bccampingadventuresАй бұрын
@@momsnoozy3 we have no concerns with the size of the 3610 (which is this one). We tow it with a Ram 3500 dually and that helps make towing much easier! Just make sure you do have a big enough truck to tow the 3610 (or any model). That can make all the difference in the world.

The most important part of how to install this product was totally skipped over. Connecting all the different wires to the different places they're supposed to be connected Is the is the hard part. Anybody could open up a package and figure out what's included without a video.
@bccampingadventures2 ай бұрын
@@timothyld sorry! There should be 2 wires in the ceiling. One is power and one is ground. Color and layout will depend on the manufacturer of the RV. Once you pull the cover the 2 wires you should need are supposed to be attached to the cover to make location easier. On that Cougar the wire needs to be cut and spliced into. Once cut, I checked the power and ground with a volt meter. Just attach power to the power wire provided with the router. Then attach ground to the switch. Then add a piece of wire from the switch to ground on the wiring provided with the router.

@bccampingadventures4 ай бұрын
What do you mean by drainage? You can use this softener over and over again. You will just need to regen it every month or so, depending on how hard or irony your water is. This is the same size as our other one we had from NP Global. The only difference is this one includes a pre-filter on the top. I don't see why you couldn't use it for showering in your home.
