So funny story! I follow Skillup channel for years and I started playing Guild Wars 2 because of you recommendation on both dlcs you reviewed, and while looking for some some thoughts over the bladesworn specialization I came to this video just to find out that this is you! So, thank you for the thorough video over this class and thanks for recommending GW2, I'm in love with this game!

First year till Path of Fire were some of my best times playing an MMO. There always seemed to be something to do and not too much to overwhelm. Really amazing additions like gliding to mounts. I played everyday, running fractals, wvw and pvp, boss events. Raids felt like a serious slog though that failed too often. But when End of Dragons hit I noticed the story really suffered and there was so much fluff and many new items that bloated my inventory. Everything before was so manageable. It's such a shame because it's really an incredible and beautiful world.

This is the beginner's guide I needed a week ago! Every other guide i've seen dont really explain what things are, how the game works or what youre supposed to do with the inventory etc.

If you dont buy expansion for 29.99$ the game as a free game is garbo

I hope the legendary spear coming in the next update ends up being like the Daybreak from Terraria with it being based on the sun (due to how commonly praised the sun is in Guild Wars)

its not the most robust housing in any mmorpg. ESO is hands down a better decoration ui system

LW is not gone. It's just called "expansions" now.

I quit this game because the crafting is pure dogshit, and this game requires 8 hours a day 7 days a week just to get simple things completed.

I would suggest new players to go WvW and buy yourself the armor or buy named gear mostly berseker for power or carrion for condi and then buy Invader set its cheap it costs few badges of honor and 5 g which is easiest cheapest option and you can buy every piece at one place

So, I used to play Guild war 2 and i stopped around the second expansion. I would love to get back into it but this feels overwhelming, should I start from where I left to do the story and get the mounts or can i get into this immediately and still be able to follow?

We need Kodan and Tengu playable. I am still surprised they haven't opened up Dominion of Winds after we beat back Primordus. Imagine the whole story of a Tengu is fighting back the Destroyers and then coming to unison to go back home in Cantha.

If they gave us a new map, in wvw with some pve/pvp mixed metas and a world boss in a coop neutral zone requiring work from across multiple wvw areas working together to gathering wvw points etc to bring down and what not I wouldn’t mind working in wvw But doing the same thing with no new content is kinda nothing new I’m hoping they can bring new content and new experiences to wvw though because over all it’s a great idea that can bring some fun experiences Maybe some sort of forgotten/lost mist walking acolyte of Balthazar, or a spirit of war. Maybe some titan earthquake opens up and brings forth a rift eating/warping titan. To my knowledge the titan were sealed in the mists by the mursaat anyways and the only reason they were the bad guys in prophecy was because they used human souls imbued with blood stone magic as batteries to keep the seal running; so who knows. There is a lot of mist lore with enemies in the lore so there’s a lot they could work with to bring refreshing pvp/pve content to wvw

So far everything looks promising, I do hope they nerf the jumping on warclaw though, I dont even like mounts to begin with but this is just excessive being able to jump that much midair.

Thank you for this video. Ive been so mad at anet for being so BAD at showing of stuff for the expansion compare to wow. Gw2 is my favorit mmo but they are so terrible at making you hyped for to the new stuff. Soto's trailers where so boring and bad I didnt even bother with the expansion until way later. Now im just waiting for wows new expansion but this video actually finally made me wanting to play the janithr wilds 👏👏

Thank you for the Showcase Bloom and your first impressions. It actually looks like a lot like Core Tyria and doesn't look, scenery wise, like an expansion that visually adds something new. The Boss fights is something I can t really comment on as they may change in the future. I would prefer even a short preparation/mini event phase as it lets ppl gather up and gives time for organized runs.

Do you use Reshade or something? Your game is SO much more colorful than mine.
