I can feel when one is going to start. Within a few seconds my body will become hot and I flush (my body turns very red). Sometimes I sweat. I carry a fan in my purse so I can fan myself when one hits me. That helps a lot.

I’ve been suffering so badly with hip and leg pain. I’ve had a very clean diet for decades, exercise etc. I’m only 46. Interesting what the trauma stored in hips, maybe that’s where I need to focus since my lifestyle is good. Feeling a bit hopeless with how many more years this process will take

There is a difference between menopause with your reproductive organs intact and clinical menopause (where one or all the uterus, ovaries, cervix are removed) i.e. hysterectomy. What care do you recommend to replenish the hormones (estrogen, progesterone and testosterone) for these women and manage the joint pains. 😮

The problem is how it affects my belly. I’m bloated and gassy. Nearly everyone tells you to eat lots of veggies but nobody addresses the side effects…

I'm so pleased to hear you're binging my videos, that is such a wonderful compliment! The bloating and gassiness comes down to gut health, absorption and digestion. All of which can become problematic in peri-to-post menopause. I have a series on gut health lined up so keep a look out.

Thank you! The all over joint pain has ramped up in the past month. It usually ends when I get my period but this time it didn't. It feels worse. I will be getting massage and chiropractic adjustment today. I've been increasing turmeric in the diet and with supplements. I will be using wild yam room and will get black cohosh today. This is not an easy process but I feel, like childbirth, my body can do this process. I just need to find the ways to assist my body with the symptoms so I i can get through everyday life. I have a large garden, I am a massage therapist, and I like to cook. I'm 54 in a couple of weeks so I'm hoping this process will be done within the next year or two. My periods are still regular except a year ago i skipped a month in April and then had two in May. 🎉

Is it possible to have estrogen dominance post menopause?
@chelseagreenholistichormones

Yes it is. In post-menopause, the hormone should come back into balance, albeit in much smaller amounts. However, that can take some time so there can still be some flux.

Hello I’m in my mid-late 40s and for the past year and a half my periods have been irregular in that they have been coming very late. My holistic OBGYN put me on bioidentical progesterone cream that helped at first. When it didn’t seem to keep me regulated, I stopped taking. A few months later I started taking wild yam root. This recent cycle came after fifty something days. Began light to moderate for a week. Then the past six days has been very heavy. I had stopped the wild yam root when period got heavy for past five days. Not sure if this heavy long duration has anything to do with that or because I stopped the wild yam. Or because of fibroids- any recommendations? This has been way too long now and too heavy. Thank you!

@@chelseagreenholistichormones in 2019 I had a miscarriage ever since then my time has been really irregular. Sometimes I have more than one time in a month I spot in between. I get bad headaches and stuff right before my time that’s like the only indicator that I know for sure it’s coming because I never know when it’s coming. I just turned 40 in September and I went to the female doctor. She said they’ll do an ultrasound but it won’t be till June to see why my time is so heavy and chunky. I just wondering like natural methods to try and get myself back to kind of normal as normal as I can be for me anyway because I also have Hashimotos.

Hi! I can't comment on individual cases, without knowing a full history. However, the biggest thing that gets in the way of progesterone production is stress. I would recommend evaluating stress in your life, especially as you have subclinical thyroid. Stress can come in all different forms, so it might take some digging - there is the obvious stressors and then things like inflammation, mould, parasites, radiation, childhood trauma, over exercising... work on calming your adrenals and engage in stress reduction daily. I have a video on stress management and ventral vagus nerve toning which would be helpful.

Hi Irene, thanks for commenting! It's more a case of what is right for each individual woman. Some will do all the food, supplements and lifestyle measures and still need extra support. Others will sail through with little or no symptoms. My preferred approach is to start with food, lifestyle, individualised homoeopathic and supplements and then review from there.

If you have a miserable life with hot flashes and night sweats, you have no idea what happens to a woman who has hyperhidrosis since childhood. And then it came with crippling arthritis for me and had slowly gained 2 lbs. per year from age 40 when I was 120 lbs. to be 200 lbs. I’ve lived with more extremes in my life. In my early 60s I became vegan to at least deal with arthritis. I decided to give Veganism a try. Just before that I tried Keto and could not poop or sleep. Veganism worked for me, it put my arthritis in remission, and helped me lose weight. I have gone from not being able to walk a few steps from my wheelchair to get to the toilet to where I walk 4.5 up to 6 miles per day. I am back at 120 lbs. Because I eat soy often as my protein, the hot flashes have diminished as well as my sweating condition, it is just GONE! Except for a warm spell I may get twice A day. But I may get moist, but don’t have to change my clothes or change the sheets due to a massive sweat attack. I do eat whole mature soybeans which I buy dry from Amazon, and cooks up well in the InstaPot. I also eat the Edamame green soy, frozen, and Tempe, just have not tried Kimchi yet. So also take one Estroven daily and a multi-vitamin, and turmeric and potassium and magnesium. I eat other beans too, as beans have lots of protein. I make most of what we eat from scratch except I do not make my own bread or pasta or soy milk. Meat has growth factor in it and as my mother and sister both died of breast cancer, the vegan diet is all anti-cancer. I wish I could have been raised vegan, animal protein is something my body does not tolerate very well at all! The soy reversed the dryness and atrophy either the vagina. No more painful sex.
