Great video ,, awesome boat , I have learned not to trust the weather from years on Cape Disappointment , anytime of year ,, I might have been better off sailing the Antartic , hindsight is always 20/20 and they don't call it Cape Disappointment for nothing ....

Hi Sophie & Chris, I realize you're professional sailors and not KZbin celebrities. But you are missing a revenue source. If appropriate, hire someone to video or do it yourselves, and have it made into a KZbin weekly series. We are curious about your experiences. Regards Billy

Hi guys. 21.14 was sporty! Reminds me that I once had to take on supplies thrown to me from the dock whilst I was helming a dinghy with that sort of surge. South Pacific somewhere. The Marquesas, possibly. I nearly landed square on the dock more than once!

Sorry that it annoys you. We are not full time KZbinrs as we don’t make remotely enough money from it. Chris is heading away to work for 3 months (we are professional sailors and he’s back skippering for a company), whilst I am at home with our son. I will endeavour to edit in order to finish off the voyage to Amsterdam. We aim to launch our own boat in August where we will set sail and film again. In the meantime, if you want to stay abreast of what we are up to on our boat refit you can head over to our IG page. Kind regards Sophie

Don't be stupid. At some point in Earth's history, the atmosphere contained much more CO2 and the climate was much warmer and wetter. Then a massive cataclysm occurred and buried/mineralized a great deal of the carbon-based life on the planet. The climate stabilized to the cooler version we have today. The furious efforts of billions of humans competing to burn that buried carbon is going to have some effect on the atmosphere, whether you believe it or not. If I were you, I wouldn't gaslight anyone with "willfully ignorant moron".

At 9,000 GBP per day, why are you scavenging on KZbin?
@seasandsummits
@seasandsummits Жыл бұрын
We don’t charge those prices. We don’t get paid that at all. It’s under Pelagic Expeditions. Chris skippers for them. I hope that makes sense! We are not full time KZbinrs we still work professionally as skippers and hope soon we can finish off our own boat which has cost more than our budget so we can go sailing on our own terms. For now tho, we work for others and produce films on the side :)

Ps to clarify, it’s not £9000 per day and any charter fees are set but the company and paid to the company. We are employed as the company skippers
