I haven't figured out all the games I might be interested in next year (I might figure that out this week), but I am very interested in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist; I believe it's a sequel to Ender Lilies, but maybe it's just in the same universe.

Hi Emily, just catching up on your excellent survey. I have some comments on the Plucky Squire having played the game. A few things going for it in addition to general charm… It’s quite short, it’s quite easy and it has numerous mini games that reference a range of gaming genres which I think you’d appreciate. I understand that your a busy gamer but maybe this one could move up a notch in your rankings. Thanks for all your content in 2024 (including JRPG Pursuit) and I look forward to what you have lined up for us next.

Appreciate the list. My categories would be: 1."Plan to buy". I've given up on pre-order for many reasons. And I very, very rarely buy a game today without checking reviews. Even if the game is from the very best studios in the world, like Naughty Dog and Nintendo EPD. There's a 99,9% chance I'll buy a game from these two studios. But I'll still check the reviews first. Checking just on a need to know basis, which is basically the grade and that's it. The game must be doing something very special for me to buy it without checking reviews. Oh, just remembered: I pre-ordered an EPD game last year!!! Probably the last game I pre-ordered, because it did do something very special. 2."Wishlist". This includes "Waiting for reviews" games. These are like 99% of the games I'm interested in. 3."Skip". That is a always a long list. No interest and no time to play so many games that are released.

Another game that should come out in 2025 is the Gothic 1 Remake, another Western RPG. They are not super well known in the US but in some European countries Gothic 1 and 2 are seen as two of the best RPGs and even best video games of all time, so people are really looking forward to the remake here. If you look up the "Gothic Remake - Official Gameplay Showcase Trailer" you can get a good impression of the vibe of the game, so you can see if it might be something for you. :)

Avowed is actually a continuation of Obsidian’s Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2, it’s set in the same world. The main difference is Pillars 1 and 2 were isometric CRPGs and this is from a third-and-first-person perspective. I’m looking forward to it - but not as much as Daybreak 2 and Sky Remake!! I’ll be so happy if they remake Sky trilogy and Crossbell duology. Great video!

I seen avowed on your list and the fact your considering it after what they said about gamers…. Not sure what to think. That like giving someone money after they spit in your face

I can understand being a stickler for regions, but really, at the end, the only difference between them is the ESRB vs. PEGI (or other regional coding) on the cover. Reprints certainly help bring prices down, but if you paid less than the ESRB version, then I think you won regardless. If you're a physical collector, it also doesn't matter much since players get these games with little to zero interest for downloading patches. Excellent video -- appreciate your coverage of Nintendo reprinting updated carts with patches on-cart.

I played little kitty big city on the game pass. Cute game but not worth buying physical imho. If you have the chance I would recommend trying it before
