People who unironically say hunting horn is a support weapon have only played LS. And they aren’t good at it.

As a main healer (SCH) in all the free trial content, I think that the low level dungeon that I hated the most and there were many wipes are The Stone Vigil (Normal and Hard), they are those dungeons that both as a healer and a tank, if they want to do w2w should use all their resources without hesitation, for example people mainly underestimate ice spirits and they do too much damage and the wipe is inevitable. Dungeons in ARR and Heavens ward hit hard, though. Some of the best dungeon designs with lots of lore sprinkled throughout. I'd take those over some of the new ones in the last 3 expansions.

I'll never forget the first bad experience I had with FFXIV. I'm fairly certain I was in Stormblood or Shadowbringers. I was levelling my WHM when some ass of a tank decided to pull THE ENTIRE FIRST ROOM into the boss room and fight it in the corner. However, one of the giant toads aggro'd to me and pulled me into the room, as I was running towards the tank. Ended up triggering the boss and we wiped. I told the tank "Hey, don't do that, I'm trying to remember how to play WHM because it's been a while." He did it twice more before one of the other party members left and we abandoned the dungeon.

Healing isnt hard, the other jobs are slacking it mostly. Dungeons can be done without a healer, but oh my the DPS i've been paired up with? Disastrous and useless. 😔

....Can we get some Kamen Rider Hibiki clips up in here for Hunting Horn given Rise and now Wilds have the attack where you shove a spike into the monster and then strum the weapon for max damage like a guitar? That's one of the finishing moves from Kamen Rider Hibiki....and the drums...and the Trumpet....Really Kamen Rider Hibiki is just the Hunting Horn used to finish off the monsters in pretty much every episode lol.

Dear god, yeah. I was a new tank when duty roulette pulled me into Aurum Vale (had it open but never went in) and I accidentally pulled every damn mob in the first room and then panicked. Mad credit to the WHM who kept us all alive while I screamed and kept running into poison. Everyone was incredibly sweet and understanding, tho.

I knew the punchline when I clicked the vid. 😂 Aurum Vale just comes out of nowhere. One of the few dungeons I've ever had to vote-kick during. Pally wouldn't put on their stance or talk in chat or listen in chat.

I.........HATE.........AURUM.......VALE! Every time I get into one I am tempted half of the times to just quite the dungeon and wait for another dungeon in the duty roulette(Especially if I am playing as the healer, half of the times the tanks and DPS just take the damn goldbile status willingly and complain about not being healed despite me telling them I cant Esuna that shit!)

I've played FFXIV since 2013 and Aurum Vale has always been and will always be my most hated dungeon regardless of what role I'm playing. God, I hate that dungeon.

When I tank and get this and I see my ground is full of sprouts I pull from start to boss it’s the only thing that keeps me going.

As a Sprout, all I have to say is fk Aurum Vale. All my Homies hate Aurum Vale.

Hate healing Aurum Vale since all my oGCD skills are gone and all I can do is watch the sprouts squirm as they run around panicking and pulling every mob. Sleep (not repose) should be a healer role spell. Not limited to magic DPS.

Just started playing FFXIV 2 weeks ago, main scholar, I was wondering if the breakneck speeds were normal. It’s just other new players being insane, gotcha 😂😅 Kinda made me want to give up heals and just DPS. Especially since every time I look at the Samurai class, I hear The Wallflowers off in the distance. While the Red Mage watches from the other side of the room and cries cause they introduced us XDDD

I just did this for the 1st time as tank and wasn't sure what the fruit does and thought it was a crafting material. Props to the healer since i didn't die even once. Been keeping my def buffs for sure.

As much as i hate aurum vale its actually a good thing for the players to give them a hard low level dungeon that is sure to make them fail. It makes them see that they do not in fact know their classes and capabilities as well as they think they do. It doesnt work on everyone but ive seen a lot of cocky sprouts go into aurum vale back in the day before it got nerfed and just get slammed.

Status hunting horn is a criminally underrated support build. Just mix safi and artian bonuses with a safi horn and you can push it to over 800 status buildup on every hit.

I was a pretty confident tank at the time. Aurum Vale was the first dungeon I fell in.

I mained a PLD and had heard of the notorious Aurum Vale. But we cleared it on our 2nd try and I was thinking 'I guess I am really good at this.' A couple of months later after having successfully taken 2 tank jobs and a dps to level 70, I decided to try my hand at healing. Picked CNJ/WHM and blitzed xp coz of instant duty starts .... and then came Aurum Vale. First time as a healer, we wiped for over 25 times (tbh i lost coint after 25). To make matters worst, I was the one usually dying first. It was traumatic. Made me stay away from healing for 3 months 😭😭😭

when I end up in aurum vale with people who have no idea how to survive this dungeon I just do the tank sac strat that make this dungeon take 6min

As a veteran I ran this on duty finder with a tank sprout. I couldn't even be bad as the number of times we wipes. It just gave me a feeling of nostalgia.

As a person who is comapratively new to the game and is fiercely loyal to her Dragoon title, this felt more attacking than real life insults lmfao
