Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new Corinthians 5:17 The old: Refers to those who are symbolically dead to the life they lived before believing The new: Refers to who you become in a relationship with Jesus. Escape for your life! Do not look back behind you, nor stay in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest you be consumed by it and let it over take you in despair. Genesis 19:17 Looking back lets Satan in basically you’re giving him room to have control instead of reminding yourself that Jesus lives in you and you have no part in Satan any longer. You will see the more you spend time with Jesus the less “disorders” there are. In my church everyone has a unique personality and order of doing things and thinking bc it’s normal we aren’t all the same. Praying for you stranger 🩵🩵🩵🩵

I dont understand how you can say your a christian and watch a demonic movie. Ariana grande admitted that she is a witch. Your husband is a pastor in a church. For me this is living a lukewarm life. Your either in Gods side or the enemy side, theres no in between

Oofff I haven’t gotten to the Wicked bit, but I gotta say: I get these comments warning about it! I was convicted this week myself, for I love musicals, but I really really see how this movie is very wicked indeed. I come from new age, so I’m happy about the other comments that warn people by saying that witchcraft is very real, and this is important: even if you don’t know you’re involved in it!! Because this was definitely the case with me and I’ve been delivered from several demons and I can tell you from my experience: these gates I unknowingly opened, we’re a hard thing to close. Thank God that’s behing me now. So just a friendly warning for my christian friends: please don’t see Wicked. Also, I’m still quite new in the faith, so I’m also very curious what you have to say about this topic Emy! With love

Guys, watching a movie is not a problem. Demonizing everything is. Let's take out the factor of Elphaba and Glinda not being FICTIONAL witches. The movie would still be about struggles of a victim of prejudice finding a friend amongst said struggles. Fictional witches are not real witches. The message of this movie is indeed light and good, magic like that isn't real. If you want to demonize a movie, try movies like Midsommar, that actually have demonic forces that make you feel sick when you finish watching it. You don't have to LOVE it, but enjoying it? Literally no problem. Emy doesn't need to be "convicted" for watching and enjoying a movie. Trust the Lord with all your heart, and that includes trusting the Spirit that lives in you to guide you to the right places, free of guilt. You didn't sin, you watched a PG movie.

I’m trying so hard to hold myself accountable and do the right thing I just am so weak as a person I always fall into temptation… I’m tired of living like this thinking it’s okay because I know we have a merciful god . Emmy this is out love, but I don’t think wicked is good. As I believe, it’s good for us to appreciate the hard work and talent that went into wicked but any show that glorifies witchcraft is not of God and separate ourself from it. I use love reading fantasy books and saw no issue cause it was made up until the Lord led me to a verse that warned against magic (Revelation 21:8)and I had to purge and repent for my lack of understanding. It is not out of legalism and I hope the Holy Spirit enlightens you on it. As an African as well, witchcraft is no joke, its glamorised in America and seen as harmless in media but the realities of it in other parts of the world can be very damaging. Love your podcast, may the Lord continue to bless you guys x ps: God using as light for your family is so beautiful see and witness that testimony, I can relate to that.

Like she said from the beginning, her intention was to pull God from the experience. It’s one thing to see a movie about witches and decide afterwards to partake in witchcraft or divination, but that’s not what I believe has taken place here with Emy.

watching a movie shouldnt make u not follow God. Its just a movie when you walk out of that movie theater or even at home you exit the movie out. Have faith say a prayer. Hope this helps.

I heard wicked is demonic, And they did satanic rituals to get into character and Ariana profess to be a witch herself and loves to get possessed. Word to the wise sis, be careful to not cause someone else to stumble because not every christian is at that maturity level where they can watch demonic movies and not get impacted or influenced because they don't know the power and authority they have in Christ yet. Also your words have power when you unknowingly say out of your mouth (YOU LOVE WICKED) your attaching yourself to wickedness, at your own time come out of agreement with those words you spoke. There's a reason why they decided to name it wicked. Please don't mock the body of Christ who actually have a discerning spirit and are having no fellowship with darkness. Do you but don't mock sis in the same manner that other believers who are going to correct they should do it out of love💖🙏 Be blessed

Respectfully I don’t believe Emmy intention was to mock the body, I think it’s a little bit of reach considering how submitted she to using her platform to serve the body.
