I don’t usually write comments but God works in mysterious ways and I had to share. God was ministering to me this morning on daring the Good News, planting seeds and leaving them. I wrote the notes down and said “God, if I’m meant to share this, give me the audience.” I ended up sharing it with some friends, a 30 min talk about what God was showing me about sowing seeds. I just hit send and came to YT to see that you posted. Everything God spoke to me about, you guys spoke about in different ways. Wow, okay God, I hear you.

It was a good podcast, but I do feel like Emy was preaching to Preston instead of asking him questions. I dont feel like we got the fullness of Preston’s point of view to questions that are in Emy’s heart and in the heart of those watching her podcast. It looks like she was the one invited to a podcast and not the other way around. When Preston has addressed the question she goes back to elaborate more on what she thinks. She ended up asking Preston few questions. Hence their conversations did not address a lot of things that are in the heart of the people watching, but again one can say everything is led by the spirit

Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. John 17:17 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:8

Recently I’ve gotten panic attacks as a trauma response me me burning myself out. This has made it impossible for me to do anything, mostly read the Bible and digest Christian stuff. Usually clicking on this would send me into a really bad panic attack, but it didn’t. You guys helped me understand that I haven’t been willing like that guy with lepeorsy was, thank you so much
@kingdomaviana8 күн бұрын
Hi, I don’t know you or your testimony. But I believe we all can encourage one another in the body. I too have had panic attacks and anxiety around Christian content and the Bible, prayer, worship etc. I noticed that when I was having them I was consuming too many people with different standpoints, ideologies, and views. I was looking at it from a position of “well I’m new to the faith and these people know a lot about the Bible and I don’t so they have authority and I have to listen to them.” But the Bible says to discern everything and everyone even in the body. Someone may be speaking truth on a platform doesn’t necessarily mean that the word is for you. It could be for someone in a whole other country or something lol. All I’m saying is you are in charge of what you consume. Another thing I used to do is confuse conviction of the Holy Spirit with my own anxiety. Ask God hey is this your conviction or my anxiety. Another thing was my view of God and religion. I used to think I had to change myself, get rid of my own addictions, build my own faith. But all that is the Job of our loving Father. All you have to worry about is leaning into his love. It’s the journey not the destination. It’s okay to deal with mental health it does not make you any less Christian. I have my own way of serving God that works for me. Of course I listen to what the Bible and Holy Spirit tell me but I don’t let other people or Christians dictate my relationship with him. God is too good to let people, anxiety, or anything else away. He is for you and he loves you! Maybe try creating a safe space around God like prayer being something that fills you not drains you. Or Bible study being something fun like oh I get to light my candles or if your a male I get to get some essential oils set the ambience and the tone that lets your brain know oh we finna get in the word! Make it a fun thing for you that’s not overwhelming or overstimulating. The deepness will come in time just keep being consistent! I love you my brother or sister in Christ! Hope this encouragement and not overwhelming. Be in peace my friend!❤😊

1:15:22 i think we all would absolutely love an in depth podcast on this topic, like biblical literacy is a thing i think is needed and a thing that needs to be taught. I don’t really know too much but that’s why i think a podcast on that to enlighten our understanding would really help some of us out.

'A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. ' 2 Timothy 2:24-26 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.

This scripture came to mind when you spoke about seed planting and how we all play a part in evangelism : 1 Corinthians 3:6-11 (NKJV) I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. In the end All Glory goes to God and The Holy Sprit brings conviction and we are instruments to do the Lords work

Hey love, been following your journey and so many of your messages have been a blessing and have convicted me. I truly thank God for using you to deliver them! As your sis though in your past episodes when you pray I hear you use the phrase "I decree and declare". I was doing a study on using that phrase in prayer, just wanted you to check it out as well. What I learned can happen by using that language is that it can put us in a heart posture of saying this is what is going to happen vs. a heart posture of asking God for it to happen. If we want his will to be done we don't have the power to decree and declare. What God has given us is the authority to pray his will be done and then by faith we believe it will come to pass. Hope your able to receive this with love, just wanted to share this because it was on my heart to share it with you :). Please seek clarity for yourself of course once again sharing this with love.
@TC-ow1xj14 күн бұрын
I thank you for this comment, because I have questioned this also. I never say declare and decree in my prayers, but I know others who do and have even prayed for me in that manner, but I always felt that it seemed like it was not right, but I’m just learning the Bible over the past 4 years, however I have Loved OUR HEAVENLY FATHER GOD from a child but did not have an active personal relationship with GOD. I just thought that trying to live right and being a good person was the way to please GOD. I went to church and was even part of a prayer group, but always felt that I could not understand the Bible, but in 2020 life happened to me and I had to go to the Bible and it has been the best thing ever. I say all that to say it’s been 4 years and I’m still feeling like I’m new in the word, and I realize that it will always be that way until the end of time, as you see something new every time you read a chapter/passage no matter how many times you read it. And though I have never done research on the declare and decree, I feel it is not for Us to be saying that as though we declare and decree, from all that I have learned from GOD’S word up to this moment. I think it was nice of you to share with her because, sometimes we really just don’t know, because we have been associated with other believers who we may learn from or listen to that pray in that way. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
