Would love to swap my 85.5 944, but the nearly 6k price tag for entry is quite a bit higher than I can reasonably afford for a project. I paid half that for an f136 engine.

Love your videos dude. I have a 85 gti that I’ve been wanting to 07k swap for a while now. What lit the fire under you to do it? I’ve been throwing money at my daily mk7 alltrack and it’s fun and all but I really want to quit being lazy and start the swap. Should I just buy the engine for a start?

Your fisrt drifts on the Sim actually didn't look too bad to be fair. If you want some good information to start off I recommend pro drifter Alan Hynes channel "HynesZ" and in particular his NeckFX Drift Settings video.

As a first PC this is perfect for 1080p gaming. I like the price for what you're getting. If I was to build this exact same PC myself it would cost me around $50 more. Thermaltake is a good brand IMO and they make some good products. That case runs around $120 by itself. Not sure what resolution that TLC TV is, but if you plan on moving past 1080p you should upgrade that GPU. The Zotac RTX4060 is a decent card. An RTX4070 upgrade paired with that I5 13400 would run 1440p with no problems. Congrats and good luck.

Yeah so far I’m pretty happy with it! I will definitely need to upgrade to a legit monitor at some point but for just running Assetto and beamng for now it’ll do. Thanks man!

Mate my 13year old kid also is asking for a sim race simulator, i saw ur face and i might autogift me one for xmas. You are very humble, u gonna reach far, i hope so. PC is ok, dont worry, prebuild usually has cheap pieces, they just put the gpu and the cpu to reach to people but usualyy the rest of the pieces are of some cheap brands, but it will do the purpuse for a 1080 40inches monitor in 60fps. u ok mate.

As a PC guy watching this one thing I will say about the whole "Do/Do NOT buy a pre-built debate" largely comes from two things. 1. It's almost always cheaper, and not that difficult, to build a like for like pc if you just buy the parts separate and build it yourself. You can also get it your way in terms of visual appeal and where you may be able to trim the cost down a bit here or there based on what part you decide to pick up. 2. The truth is that most people buying pre-built don't really know what they are looking for or how to avoid problems so they end up with the big name's like Alienware, HP (or Omen rather), etc. etc. you make a lot of really bad decisions during their build process' that can result in some bad spots down the line. Alienware is notorious for having cases with terrible airflow, bad power supplies, and skimped on ram which leads to problems for the build down the road (and in some cases not that far down). Omen is the same and loves a proprietary sized motherboard (which is a horrible decision from a build standpoint). Yours actually looks like one other better thought out pre-builds. Thermaltake is a pretty solid and well respected brand and if they are using all of their parts that they make you picked a pretty good one. Just need to get it off the ground. :) Great video. Looking forward to seeing you get better at sim racing/drifting.
@BoostBrothersGarage19 күн бұрын
Thanks man! Yeah I did my research and landed on the thermaltake and so far I’m really happy with it. If I were to try and build a pc it wouldn’t work so I figured play and safe and go with a mid tiered prebuilt and hope for the best haha

Ive worked out of storage units so. I consider your shed as a big improvement . No doubt it’s a challenge in cold temps , watch some visegrip garage for inspiration , keep those good spirits , viewers are very interested in the journey . If you follow that same design with your channel with a European car theme , it’s constructive upon others unrealized dream cars that is the gold vein in content creation . Those deals that couch mechanics inspire in their day dreams .

@5:12 the car is preigniting, yet its still being pushed? No wonder it made more power when they pulled 2 degrees. It helps when your firing the plugs when fuel burn is happening on the side when the piston is going down and not up. How do people not hear the racket preignition makes, its just as loud as the exhaust!

Just as an FYI in case the 6spd offs itself, Eu and JDM markets got a 5 speed rx8. The box themselves are similar to FD internals so they’re stronger than the US 6 speeds. Same clutch, flywheel, and slave set up.
