Let’s start off, Light was supposed to be very attractive, confident, intimidating, manipulative, and extremely intelligent. But in the movie, he looks like a psychopath. He is not attractive. He seems very scared and he doesn’t seem intelligent whatsoever. He actually betrays himself as being dumb and not having a mind of his own whatsoever, he lets Mia make majority of their decisions. Light is also in love with Mia in the movie, but in the anime he’s just using her and he doesn’t even seem like he wants to have the death note in his possession and Mia actually wants it sooo much she’s willing to betray Light in order to get the death note, but in the anime he wants to change the world and he also doesn’t show Mia the death note right away. I think he actually shows someone else like another female. And theirs probably a lot more things that their are but let’s move on. Mia. So Mia is supposed to be a very attractive, innocent and naïve character that’s head over heels in love with Light, and would do anything for him. She would even let Light use her if he needed. But in the movie version she’s confident, somewhat intimidating especially towards Lights. And she wants the death note and wants to kill people way more than Light does. And she even is willing to betray or backstab Light just so she can have her way. And the other thing is she didn’t act like the character from the anime at all and neither did Light or L. And now let’s get on to L’s character. Well first off he doesn’t dress like him or act like him. But you can tell he’s really trying to. L in the movie version is emotionally and extremely stressed out and seems to not think things through and he just makes decisions based on is emotions or his frustration towards not being able to catch Light or prove that Kida is Light. In the anime he’s very calm doesn’t really trust anyone really, very smart and NOT emotionally at all. And let’s point out the VERY obvious, looks NOTHING like the character. Actually none of the actors look like any of characters, not even a little bit. Everything thing about this movie was wrong. Even the CGI was terrible. I even heard that they were given a 4 million dollar budget too. And THIS is what we are getting from ALL THAT MONEY. I’m sure they didn’t even make a quarter of whatever they spent making the movie. But hey, we can’t say that this is the first time Hollywood messed up on a anime movie and for SURE won’t be the last time either….. SMH 🤦🏻‍♀️

I am so glad I wasn't the only one who felt that way about the New 52's second Klarion.

I also there's no shame in being cheap with your gear my first leather gear was a pair of leather gloves and than I brought a leather jacket and military boots. My first harness was a cheap harness I got off of wish and people said I still looked great the leather on a budget is definitely achievable you just have to look in the right places and be patient if you want something really bad than work for it. It wasn't until recently where I got my first kilt I wear my kilt to my local gay bar for 1. Hopes of normalizing leather in my city 2. It's very freeing to wear a kilt 3. I'm young and I want to show people that young people are also into leather and I also want to encourage others to explore their leather side or kink side in general I also am doing this in hopes of eventually having a leather hangout space in my city. With me I got into leather and bdsm when I was 18 also the last time I was imprisoned too because of drug and gang violence but I'm much better now I have alot trauma and a history of being abused a child and someone in the cell told me about bdsm and that they where an ex leather daddy I immediately was completely intrigued by what this man was saying and the fact that he was the only person in prison with me who treated me with respect and also treated me kindly too gave me even more respect through he put himself in prison after he killed someone while high on drugs and he was also a prostitute too but he was trying to turn his life back around. Anyway I wanted him to tell me more about his bdsm and leather experiences and how he got into it and the more he told the more I became interested in it because to me it sounded like a way of taking back control over something I lost in this case my sex life and I liked how the idea of wearing leather would make me look all cool and mysterious and sexy. I got out of prison and I right off the bat after I was in a better state and could trust myself I joined a local leather community and it as the first time I ever felt safe around people and ever since than BDSM and leather has been my thing because leather and bdsm is what saved me from myself and gave me the motivation to better myself and to stop this criminal lifestyle. There are other reasons but this the shortened version of the story I also like the sense of control I get from it too and the creative aspect of it the idea and I also just liked the idea of either getting tied up and tying of people up too.
