I'll be totally real, I think in terms of display if you want an affordable star destroyer, the Executor is the superior model. For $70 you get a display piece that looks great, and doesn't have $100 of width, figures, and interior... that said though. I play with my sets to cut down on screen time, and this is desirable for the fact that I can place figs all in the interior, and just have fun with it! I love both sets, but for sheer display, I may recommend the executor.

Meh, custom don't count, only official Lego figures count. I have a rule if Lego themselves don't do it then I don't buy rip offs I just customise myself by changing arms or helmets or whatever. Like for instance lego have not done an arf trooper for their walker in the 501st battle pack cos a standard trooper does not drive those so because of this inaccuracy I've just bought one of the older arf troopers taken a 501st body and the arf helmet and stuck it on that. Bingo, arf trooper.

Finally someone without complaining about the same 3 problems that all the ppl say, (Fox, Double doors and wing shooters) I have it and I think is PERFECT like the minor issue is the wing shooters but all the other things are perfect, and the little cargo bay of the front could be used to store ammo or something for the ppl that build Mocs or make animations. If you are not a super fan that won’t buy it because it has 1 canon fail I recommend it because we don’t know when they could release another one and is pretty good 10/10.

While I do agree that this set is great, the set of the year has to go to the UCS TIE Interceptor. This set comes in at a close second since the UCS TIE Intercepto9r remake was both well priced and a good update to the old set.

Lego probably didn't used 187th because they look too similar to shock troopers, and purple is already associated with Mace Windu anyways.

I got lucky and found this set Yesterday for $66! E-wing still looks better with R2-D2.

The body is a bit too accurate, in my opinion. Other than that? Its good, although the hands like very easy to pop off.

Pairing this up with my AT-TE with 212th clones.

The Fox figure is objectively bad. While I would not call it a "throw away figure" like Jangbricks, it's almost that bad. And that's not taking in to account inaccuracies. I'm more critical of the poor quality in the torso. It was a failure.
