You can bend the Fives' pauldron into shape with the OG plastic ones. Just place it over the cloth one and after some time, it will form into shape.

They should’ve given fives either the old arc trooper pauldron or two of the 2023 Rex pauldrons. Also, please bring back cloth kamas or just print the side of the legs lego.

1:37 Holy hell, that is completely accurate. During the time of when Mando Boba Fett got the typical sand green helmet and jetpack instead of the dark green he has in the show, I saw some hate but it wasn’t much or it died off quickly. Yet if they did the same thing for a clone, everyone all of a sudden goes ballistic now. But that aside I’m really looking forward to this set. I still don’t have an updated Vader figure yet so this will probably be the set where I’ll get. Personally Fives gets way too much hate. Outside of the helmet print which it could use some touch ups, the legs could use some side printing, and include a hair piece for him, I think he looks great and I’m very excited to add him to my collection!

Yeah, the Mandalorian style Boba Fett figure should have used a regular green for the helmet and jetpack, not the sand green. Dark green would have been way too dark for the helmet and jetpack, though, since those are actually a slightly different shade of green to the chest armor on the actual costume used in Mandalorian season 2.

The fives pauldron infuriates me because the one on the last ARC trooper functions so well. They just had to use the same design...

I’d say it looks more accurate and it functions way better because it’s designed to fold over the shoulders

It was objectively less accurate and the arc trooper pauldron doesn't fold it just slightly curves which could easily be done with this cloth if you choose

problem is probably that it’s too thin to print on it, and if they were to make it thicker it probably wouldn’t bend that way anymore

I think it’s cool that we are getting a fives minifigure. Could he have looked better? Yes. But I still think he looks pretty good. Set is also nice

Agreed. Just add a custom cloth kama and he honestly wouldn't look that bad.

For fives I'd put the pauldron underneath the backpack because it'll pull it down slightly making it look more accurate

that's why i can't take clone fans seriously... you make a great point, people don't care when lego isn't giving the 100% accurate vader version but complain when clones have a misshift error

A guy argued with me saying Fives being innacurate is more important even though Fives is a bonus to a set specifically about vader. clone fan boys suck!

@HondaOhnaka but honestly nothing is even wrong with it the helmet is funky but everything is accurate and looks good. They just argue for the sake of it sometimes I find. Also I'm a fan of clone wars I just don't associate myself with lego clone fans haha.

@@skinnyj123Yeah, literally the only actual inaccuracies are the gauntlets not fully having the correct details (i.e. lacking any grey). Everything else that's "wrong" with the Fives figure is purely due to either Lego's current style or their current printing limitations.

Great review! I thought this set was kind of a plain looking set when the photos were first released. I had no idea it had so many cool play features, I'm definitely considering getting one now!

Great review! really excited to get this set since i just found most of my reel fleet troopers from the battle pack years ago. definitely gonna pick up a second one and make the full hallway.

I hope they continue to do these sorta diorama playsets, and continue to make them more seamless when combining multiples. With this set, combining two is done easily with the technic parts, however it looks kinda awkward as the arches don't align. But that's something that could be modified. Overall, I think this will be one of the best Star Wars sets this year, it's well-designed and the figure selection is pretty perfect

Great set indeed! Picked one up yesterday. Fives pauldron… yeah well, I have put it first before adding the back pack and feel more satisfied.

It's a shame that MandR does not keep the same energy with anything outside of clone wars. He did not even mention inaccurate Vader, doesn't push for dual molded rebel trooper legs, mostly ignores the family guy storm trooper helmets but will cry himself to sleep about the throw in Fives.

I really can't understand the dislike for the modern stormtrooper helmet mold. It's overall more accurately shaped than the previous one, and it's also nice to not be constantly getting stormtroopers with the visors and mouth prints shifted slightly (which was a big problem with the 2014 style stormtrooper since all of the detail was printed on).

@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 that’s fair! I think it is subjective. It’s a little bit too elongated to be accurate to source material and looks goofy but most things don’t translate 1 to 1 with LEGO figs.
