My wife used to beg me to shave, now she demands that I don’t shave. Somehow it’s become HERA beard.😂

I know this is a year old, sorry for the late comment. I just stumbled onto this great content. Honestly, I have a long beard that is normally super curly. I've used a cheap straightener from Walmart for years and it takes me 3-5 minutes after it's heated up. I've tried the blow dryer version in the past had a very hard time with it. Love the content and will keep watching, great stuff.

Well shoot! I've been using the wrong side of the comb. Now I know. Thanks for the video. Currently growing a long beard and want it to look nice and clean. Is it important to use beard oils?

Matty, I really appreciate how you were able to segue so cleanly from a rough beard to the different styles that you present - Shows just a piece of your skill as a barber and content creator. Your advice helps give me confidence with my adventures in managing my beard.

Lol at 13:50 I feel like there's not a human anywhere that can seemlessly switch to their less dominant hand while trimming and maintaining the correct angle whilst looking in a mirror and accounting for the the fact that it's a reverse image and all of your movements need to be opposite of what feels natural, whilst using your less dominant hand to trim the thing that literally everyone sees every day. What's more fun is adding a second mirror when tryna trim the blind spots! Kudos to you Mattie! You make it look so easy! Love your videos brother! Keep up the great work!

Looks aweful! Do not trim: ! What is so complicated in this concept? He looks like someone who spend too much time in front of the mirror, and the whole point of a beard is NOT to look like that.

So oval face is best with duck tail I hope my barber can help me achieve this look, your beard is very similar to mine in terms of the hair, however my mustache area is probably finer and best with the top lip showing

I miss seeing new videos from you. I know you’re busy, but your videos were a huge inspiration for me learning how to trim my own beard. I hope if I ever go on vacation to Canada, it’ll be somewhere near your shop so I can stop in for a trim by you.

Im so sad. i had to shave off my beard because of work.... I took a job for a few months in the oil refinery. In the beginning, i didn't need to shave because im a crane operator. But some people started complaining and then they made us shave....I was so upset. Oh well, the job pays good

I'm tired of going to "high-end" places and paying big bucks for what usually ends up being a disappointing experience and result. I'm bald so I want my beard to be an asset. In other words not something I have because I'm too lazy to shave etc. Keeping a beard looking good is more work than staying clean shaven really. I went to a new place recently and the woman I got wasn't even a barber specifically. And this was a place where BARBER is in the name of the business! Yes, I gave them some negative feedback in my Google review but they were more defensive than accepting of the constructive criticism etc. Why is a BARBERSHOP employing a NON-barber? Their online ad is talking about BARBER specific services including straight razor shaving services etc. Then I get a woman who basically acknowledges that she's not the right person to provide me with a custom beard trim! It's almost as if they are trying to put the responsibility on me as far as I should have made a point to communicate to them that it was important to me to get a BARBER specifically but the name of the place is Kennedy's BARBER club!!! Ridiculous. Never trust the Kennedys I guess is the moral of the story.

Thank you for this, seriously. I'm 32 with a very dense black beard and in the last year dozens of hairs have begun to betray me and turn gray mostly on my chin. I think I'm going to try this today and see if I can't attempt to preserve what's left of my youth for at least one or two kore years lol. Your results turned out fantastic. 🥂

How long is that grown in few months ? I'm at 22 days now I usually don't go more than a week not sure how long I'll grow it. I did like 2 months one but only on the front part of my chin not the sides. I'm keeping the sides just trim up high don't like the hair up too high.

I can't groom a full beard, I just have an extended goatee, clearer that I want, like Di caprio. I noticed that a lot of videos are addressed to men with full beard and it's normal 'cause it's a lot of work. But I can't stop thinking that we are a bit aside in the world of facial hair. It's just a personnal opinion, not a criticism. Could you make a video about men facing bearless problem ?

20:03 best thing I ever got was a beard bib apron which attaches to a couple of hooks on sucker cups on the mirror, catches everything then you just tip it away. Costs next to nothing to buy as well. just search 'beard bib apron'.
