Omg! Im stunned! Your orchies are UNREAL!! I'm going in to my third year growing and still haven't had too many bloom for me, so I'm dreaming of the day I have something just 1/10 this beautiful! Nice work!! GOALS

Since orchids typically don't regrow their roots, it is a daunting task repotting them. The only time roots grow is on the new growths.

I really love this channel. I wish she would come back if there is someone looking at this and trying to learn from her, this is a good tip. You can also put a wine cork in between the pot and the plant to prop the phal up.

That is the Madeira vine aka the vine from hell. Don’t let it get started in your place or you’ll never get rid of it. Don’t drop any part of it on the ground as it is capable of growing new plants.

Finally an amazing video to help me become an Orchid Enthusiast!! BTW, I just took a minute and released the long root that I was hoping was a spike. I am looking forward to listening to all of your videos! Many thanks and sending positive loving energy to you!

Thank you! Easy pleasant listening voice and content very informative. Although i feel very disappointed that what i thought were spikes are just roots after watching and learning from your video, I am happy that they are healthy and I'll be keeping an eye out for that elusive spikes! 😁

Hello from Western Australia. I thoroughly enjoyed this video on keikis. I have tried a couple of times to grow them, but to no avail. I have a new one starting, so I look forward to trying your method. Also, I have wondered about using Seasol, but I am not sure of the ratio. Can you help with that, please.

Excellent explaining, i got a new Dendorium Orchid, it has many new orchids growing all around and was thinking it must need a new repot soon, I must get all the tools needed, thanks for this easy demonstration to follow 😁 my last phelnaopsis withered and the last leaves fell then i finally gave up🍃 but I learned alot from it.. ya see it was a gift and I decided I knew already how to take care of it that it's like any other plant, plenty of sunlight and water.. i looked up when things started looking bad and found it was too late.. the water i gave and put it outside were the 2 most mistake i ever thought possible, then i found it had root rot.. Baaaad haha like there was barely any green maybe like 5 roots left out of like 15 😅 the water i gave it damaged em all .. so i learned my lesson, study study study no matter waht plant I get .. i know they all more less differently care for now 🤣

Spiders build their webs anew every night, I believe. Not to worry. They do a fantastic job of ridding your plants of unwanted pests and rarely pose any real danger to humans.

The weather is just so harsh and unpredictable these days, I much prefer to have the safety and predictability of growing inside. It gets up to 114°F here in the summer in Texas, and we have many more consecutive freezing days outside in the winter. It's scary! Is this the new norm? God, I sure hope not.

Thank you for the great video. I have one phal with new growth that hasn’t bloomed in a long time, so I am hopeful that it’s a spike. I wanted to comment on your statement regarding when to water. It was my understanding that orchid roots grown in clear pots are green because they are exposed to light and air, contain chlorophyll and photosynthesize. White roots would not necessarily indicate the need to water, dry medium might be a better way to tell if a plant needs water. I have heard other people make that statement but I’m not sure it’s 100% accurate. Otherwise, the video was really helpful, thank you.
