I've just watched the highlights of the Bathurst 12 hour this year and Ayhancan's move around Bastian Buus going up the mountain was ballsy. And with Thomas Laudenbach watching. 😁👀

I have a story to share about sim racing, I have a lot of respect for sim racers, especially for the guys who are always winning (and also who are struggling)because it requires 100% determination and you need to leave everything behind in your life and the sole purpose in your life should only be sim racing. I'm proud to say that i have experienced what Ayrton SENNA had experinced in his life while racing at monaco. While I was racing in monaco,I felt like i was putting on perfect laps on and on and on (and they were perfect laps) and i was blisteringly quick, without any mistakes - the surprising part was, i was not putting any extra effort nor did i require extra mental strength or i felt stressed, I just went quicker and quicker and quicker, it was like a tunnel, it was all kinda Automatic, i felt like i wasnt doing anything at all, it just happened. That gave a lot of satisfaction and was a great feeling, i remember that till this day. I later found a video of ayrton senna the GOAT saying he experienced the same thing (ofcourse, before me) at monaco.

Hi Laurens, Please keep this series going, its a lot of fun and it gives a driver/athelete perspective, inside stories and allows us harcore racing fans to be personal with you drivers and your athlete life. This is very underrated. If you can, hire a social media team or just discuss about it or maybe collaborate with WEC.

Great to hear the story of The Humble Beast and his path in Motorsport with Porsche. Didn't knew about Ayhancan until I started follow him last year in DTM, hopefully he can have more success in DTM aswell in other championships to make proud his country 🇹🇷 Really awesome to have a driver and person like him in the Porsche family 🙌

28:37 finally someone says it. I started simracing when my season shortened in covid and back then it was fun and all, but I'm having a hard time putting in hours of practise on the sim now. I'd like to get on pace to ensure p1 every time, but I can not bring myself to put in that much practise anymore. It's unbelievably mentally exhausting.

Really impressed by Güven’s driving this last few years. He’s already very fast and still improving every race compared to other. He sounds like a nice dude and has a cool underdog story so you cannot not root for him . His teammate Preining or Julien Andlauer next on the podcast would be fun or possibly older guys like Mako or Lietz for some cool stories. Keep up the good work Laurens 👍

Nice to hear his story from him. Yes, it's hard for most people to get there but it's harder when coming from nations that do not have a motorsport culture. Never give up Ayhancan, keep Rolling.
