Earl Bamber: Getting sued by Coca-Cola, the best

As a former pro cyclist, and still an amateur pro, it is always interesting to listen to drivers talk about riding. I am also a type 1 diabetic and glucose monitoring not only keeps me alive but also assists me as knowing what glucoses do regarding diet and exercise. I think it is so weird to hear non-diabetics talk about it haha. But, if it helps you manage your diet for the purposes you use it for, I support that. Regardless, all the best of luck to Bamber and you guys for the upcoming races. I am routing for both Cadillac and Porsche this season.

Yep, 2020 Sebring finished second with Bamthor whilst Tandy, Mako and Bamber won

@@cw3479 I'm not sure about that, he does have a seat in the Proton 963 in WEC, and was very fast in the 919. Cant find any laptime data from 202o to see if he was substantially slower than LV at Sebring

@@freedman917 I didn’t know him to be slow either. He also helped to develop the 963 but left Porsche as a factory driver after he didn’t get a seat in the works team. Also makes sense why he’d get on with Proton, especially with them not having any test time or data collected. Hope it works out for him.

54:30 watching this as Earl comes in the pits from the lead for a driver change and Dries takes first position on track with 4 1/2 hours to go in the 24h nürburgring 👀 Edit: It's the last lap, Dries was 52.176 seconds behind Earl's car when they last crossed the line. He drove an incredible race coming from p31, his on-board gives me serious goosebumps. Edit2: Wasn't enough in the end for another win for Dries, but Earl got his first one. Well done to you too, Laurens, I hope your PB oatmeal made you a bit less sad when the car DNFed. 😆🤭

🎉 congrats with the tenth episode. I listened to all of them and they are really great and helpful for huge motorsport fan and being driver myself. I love parts when you discuss training. It’s really fascinating especially there is a stigma about racing that they don’t need to be fit. You mentioned lack of seat time and driver training. It would be great if you can discuss or explain your training and opinion on simulators and if/how you use them as part of your training routine.
