Hi, why does each person on your team have their own board? Why don't you just use filters/views in the activities board? If you can combine it all into one board then you should not have an issue with the automation. thoughts?

@@mastering-monday honestly, we are on our first steps on using monday at our company, and we don't even know if its the best way. But we set it up that way so the main board is more like an task assignment, where our manager is going to assign tasks for each one of us, but he doesnt need to know every single one of our tasks, just the workload, so everyone has its own board to keep track of its own activities as well as the tasks that were designed by the manager. we just need that every worker is well organized and the manager can access with ease the workload of each one, to know if we are fine. The star of the usage of the monday app came out of necessity, where our team is very small at the moment and often we are so overloaded with tasks, so it is a way so that we have only what we can accomplish. Idk if it was confuse the text, im sorry english is not my main language

Great question! So if you are on the enterprise version on monday, then you can have item level permissions which would mean that people could only see the tasks that they are assigned to. If you are not on that, you have a few other options. You could use the my work like you suggested. I also have done a setup where your personal task board is linked to the main task board. In the main task board, it would just say something like "Tara's Task" or something generic, however it connected to the personal board. You could then view the task in the connected board column. And since no one else would be on your personal board, they would not be able to see that task. You can also set up automations to link the 2 boards. Would any of these work for you?

Great question! So you can use statuses for that as you saw that I do. However it is annoying to have all of your completed tasks mixed up with your open tasks. I think the groups allows you to easily move out the completed tasks so you only focus on the open tasks. Does that make sense?

That would be a great feature! That is not part of the monday export but you should check out the apps and maybe there is one there that can do it. I know that the monday one does pull in the board name so maybe you can do it there even though that is not a logo? And you should recommend this feature to the monday team.

Yes, that should be possible. What if you just make a date column for the next payment date and set up a notification to remind you when they need to be billed?
