After micrsoft took a game off my account with now explanation or reason with no refund, physical games have become my #1 priority in regards to gaming now. On my PC pretty much the only digitial games im gonna buy are indie games unless that sees a physical release.

Also there's only 2 times where I ever bought a game digitally. They were Westward 4 which is a PC exclusive game, so no physical copies and State of Decay 2 because I don't own a Xbox One. That's it! That's literally the entire list.

You don't even need to use gamestop if you're trying to resell your games. Facebook marketplace is the perfect place to resell your used games and you can probably find a buy willing to pay a nice price for a used game. For example I'm trying to search for a PS4 version of Resident Evil 4 remake at a discount price. So whether it's used or simply cheaper, is good and apparently many people are too since Gamestop where I live is all sold out.

i played it and in the very beginning it was a little slow "walking simulator". Then i decided to give it a chance like you said and i am seriously becoming invested. Cut scenes are amazing, the tension level sometimes is next level, and it is really starting to get good. I just got the mission to go to the harbor and can't wait to see what happens next. Getting good enough where i spent the extra money and upgraded from my ps4 version to the ps5 director's cut version. Loving it. Great Show Buddy. It made me pick up the game again and give it another chance.

Whatever happens happens

this game took about 12-16 hours in and 3 separate fresh starts to finally hook me. It's in my top 5 games of all time now after putting 170 some odd hours into it.The story is incredible yet cringe at times (I still love it especially the big big reveal at the end). The gameplay and mechanics are addicting, relaxing, and tense all at once. The endless possibilities of traversing the Icelandic countryside (I mean "America") was so much goddamn fun, literally preparing for every mission/delivery/situation kept me going. The biggest aspect of this game hooking me was the parallels to reality; ya see I've been a bike messenger on and off for give or take 15 years and when the pandemic hit it was truly a surreal experience. This game's setting/mood/story/lore/etc reminded me of the loneliness of delivering packages to rich assholes in a major US city on a bike. Every single time I play this game I get goosebumps remembering the surreal experience of working during the pandemic and its so hard to explain that situation let alone recommending this game to other people lmao. In conclusion; this game is a strange/cringe masterpiece that goes far deeper than anyone would ever expect and its kind of impossible to recommend unless you want to simulate a soul crushing job. KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!!

I personally hate what Xbox has become the last 2 generations. Exclusive games, Gamepass prices keep going up, studio devs, keep getting fired... But even their console sales bar down everyyear,😮 They'll probably go all digital next gen, and become a publisher

It's very important to support physical Games and your local video game stores. Games are being removed from digital stores all the time, and even remakes are removing content that were in the original for censorship. At the same time as a Collector, running out of space is a big issue for me. At this point I get the physical edition if it's either a game I know I'm gonna love or if it comes with a special case or inserts. If it's just a bear game in a case, I'll probably get the digital then If it's on sale.

Replaying it again on the PC when it went on sale. Having a great time with the updated graphics from the PS4. Still a great experience and have never regretted ignoring the reviews. Can't wait for the second one.

Funny this comes up in my feed after i finish my first playthrough of Dead Rising in a few years. Ive loved those first two ganes ever since I first picked them up. I used to know them front to back, but getting there caused such burnout because i always hyperfixate. But it was nice to return to it again. After all this time away from it, i had a lot of fun. I hope you get out of your rut quickly and find a game that's exavtky what you need, even if it isnt what you thought it would be.

That is what it sounds like you're experiencing. I'll give one option, Go to church, meet some new people, learn things that you might wish you learned earlier, or maybe wished you hadn't forgot. The moments you just stop, you come back to reality, you break from an autopilot like trance and think "what am i doing?" Or maybe just "why". You have a purpose, it's a big world out there, once you think you saw all there is to see, you'll see something new. It's easy to get lost out there and there's a lot of ground to cover, so why not start now? (I am writing this on 5 hours of sleep and 15 hours since i last slept so i apoligize if none of this makes sense and is just a jumbled mess of words😅.)

And yeah i get like this too, spending hours trying to optimise my mood, feels like im taking a phd in trying to calculate the best game for me to be playing in order to get no fomo. I found the best thing for me is to force myself into boredom, not for long. Just turn all screens off, close your eyes and try and think about nothing. After 5 minutes of absolute boredom i find that any entertainment is worth my free time and im free to actually choose what i would like to spend my time doing. The video by better ideas: "the procrastination tool you don't want to hear" is a good guide for this, it's not just useful for being productive but also good for valuing the simple fun in gaming.

I’m a ps4 owner but I won’t pay $700 for digital only ps5 pro nor pay $80 disk attachment. I am willing to purchase Xbox series X special edition 2TB for 600 as it comes with 2TB plus Blu-ray drive. I missed out on this generation of consoles because of the pandemic. Even years after I couldn’t find either one. So now since I have gaming laptop plus games pass it makes more sense get Xbox series X as my ps4 ruined my copy of stargate. Also I never bought systems solely due to the gaming library. I bounced from psone Xbox ps3 ps4 so I’m no fanboy. I even briefly had Wii and 360. I loved handheld as I had psp, vita, dslite, switch and before that game gear and gameboy advanced sp. I grew up Atari 2600 then genesis. I never was Nintendo guy.

The best way to finish your backlog is by not adding to it. STOP buying new games all the time and focus on the backlog. Play 5 or 10 games from your backlog then play ONE new game, then go back to another 5 or 10 games. Rinse. Repeat. Also: CLIP. THE MIC. TO. YOUR. SHIRT. It's a bad look holding it like a Derp. That's WHY the clip is there.
