you're back and I missed it!!! Gorgeous as always - I hope you stabbed the tree back with a diaper pin.

Beautiful, just please don´t cut the moss, please cultivate it, because it´s very important for the forest humidity.

Yes i have since learned how terrible it is to harvest moss and don't condone it. This video was the last time I did it

I guess if you squint your eyes,... and tilt your head. You can kinda see what could sorta resemble a tree. 🤭Naaa it's awesome. 😁

I've not only bought a few cheap trees like this from China that look terrible, but seen other KZbinrs doing this. Yours is way better. At the end I was imaging what the tree would look like with florescent paint as it gave a glow from absorbed light or from phosphorescent paint from blacklights. Either would a quite haunting appearance. Probably also alter other colors like your pink flock. 😊

I bought a 15-year-old bonsai tree… took it to the forest, and planted it in a nice area with plenty of sun and water….I set it free…

This turned out fantastic, but anyone looking to experiment, acrylic fiber paste, is a far better alternative over hot glue. It is more forgiving, with a far longer working time. it can be easily manipulated, for textures, it’s extremely flexible, and it takes paint extremely well. Give it a shot!
@Geordiecrafts25 күн бұрын
I actually make some DYI fibre paste for my willow tree bark! It’s a great alternative!

@@Geordiecrafts Nice! I use a lot of goldens products. I get frustrated, when I see these modeling companies, pushing different acrylic based diorama products. They have people buying eight different products, for eight different variations of mud/dirt lol. Golden products aren’t cheap, relatively speaking, but they last forever, and you can make any color, and texture variation, you’d like.
@Geordiecrafts24 күн бұрын
@@sferguson1130 haha yeah that's why I wanted to make my own, I love golden products (and other terrain brands) but they're too dang spendy for me

As someone I just watched made their own sculptamold that looked to be absolutely amazing and also dirt cheap. Find Cellulose insulation, and use that with plaster/gypsum, as a substitute for sculptamold.

I discovered your channel a few days ago and what you do and how you tell it is impressive. Congratulations!! I only have one question, what did you use to glue the plexiglass? Thanks and keep it up!!
@GeordiecraftsАй бұрын
Thank you for the kind words! I used weld-on 4, it's an acrylic solvent so I recommend using scotch tape to mask off the edges because any plexiglass the solvent touches bubbles up and gets ruined. Hope that helps!

GRASS: 20 times I watched the part where you applied ‘neat’ PVA glue and said “then place the GROUND PIN against the glue, and Walaa - grass!” ??????? … No explanation here & I can find nothing about it - did you apply electricity & it just “grew grass”? This point is so short it’s confusing = please explain. (I’m about to build my first diorama I’m very interested in any techniques I can learn) … Thank You!!

Haha sorry this video didn't really go into depth about static grass application as I was mostly demonstrating the rocks. Geek gaming scenics has a great video about it from a while ago! Hope that's helpful! kzbin.info/www/bejne/bne6dHeVgrJ3la8si=D6QB_5_bHp08bMTE

I'm not Indian, I just think sanskrit is beautifully written. I got the tattoo 12 years ago when I was fairly young, अधुना (adhunā) means "at this time". The context isn't perfect but it's just a reminder to come back to the present moment when my mind wanders 😅
