Awesome straight forward video man, doing my sparkplugs on my Stagea today and ive never done them on a coil over plug engine before so it was nice to see how simple it is, the camera on the head to show your POV made it super easy to follow along too :)

Not using a blow off valve mate! Standard one is still in place, which is blocked!

Can anyone help me so my neighbour told me not to use Castrol oil in rb engines as the engine is to old and they don’t like it ( he is a nissan specialist) but I just want to know if anyone else has had problems with it as I have always used Castrol oil in my other cars and they run great

I always use Penrite, but at the time Castrol was on sale which was in my budget range! I haven’t had an issue with it mate.

Bit of an odd question, what series throttle body is that on the intake? i know the neo ones are chunky and have a different tps layout. (Or was it possibly cut down to run that two plug tps?)

Hey mate, thanks for your comment! So my RB neo, is running an S2 Loom and ecu. So I got rid of the Neo TB to run the S2 one so I could use the s2 tps.

hi friend, I changed a water pipe and now my skyline r33 eats all the coolant, I think there are air bubbles in the cooling system. You unscrewed that cap at the top of the engine and left it open until the coolant came out without bubbles right? Do you then close the cap with the engine on or off?

Hi mate. Engine running with the cap off to bleed it. But also, up on your intake manifold towards the front of it should be an 10 or 12mm nut, undo it and take it off and rev the car while trying to bleed it. It’s the highest point of your cooling system and will help the bubbles escape.

11:00 rose-joint, spherical bearing, rod-end or heim-joint and probably lots of other names haha. Adding plus 10mm to the traction rod length will improve traction by limiting the toe-curve during compression of the rear end.

I noticed that you have a dimmer switch. On my R33GTR that is missing, does the GTR have a dimmer switch, or was it just blank?

Hey mate, they should all have a dimmer switch. Maybe take the fascia off your dash and see if you’ve got a plug there. I may have a spare one I could send to you if you need!
