Are there any companies making old school mattresses?

Great videos! I purchased the soft/plush version & it gave me me lower back pain from the start. This is my first hybrid bed so I was told it can take 60 days to adjust. I tried for 60 days & couldn’t take it any longer. I then exchanged for their newer High Point Firm version II and have only had for 1 week and when sleeping on my back, I feel like the heaviest parts of my body ie butt & shoulders are in pain. I weight 165 lbs. i came from a 12 yr old Simmons Beautyrest plush pillow top. Would you suggest allowing this more time or swapping for the new Medium that just released? If so, how much time? I was told that I could try walking on it to speed up the break-in period but how much softer could it really get? I prefer the feel of a 5-star hotel mattress. Thanks

I have experience with these mattresses as a consumer. I came from a 12 year old Simmons Beauty Rest. I am 5.6” 170 lbs and I fell in love with the plush version in the store. I slept great on it BUT I had lower back pain. I tried it for 60 days hoping my body would adjust & it never did. I then made the mistake of going too far to the other firmness spectrum & exchanged with the firm version. 1st night, NO sleep at all. Finally began to sleep well but I could feel circulation being cut off on my butt & shoulders when lying on my back. I like to sit up in bed while watching tv and when I get up, my butt feels sore like I sitting on a hard surface. This weekend I’m exchanging, hopefully for the LAST time, for the medium version which was not available at the time of my first purchase but they JUST released it. Mattress shopping is a pain. I almost feel like purchasing directly from the manufacturers site so that I can get the same mattress every 10 years. No fun when you go to replace your mattress and they no longer make the same model

Considering the king series 4 medium summit pillow top - I am a side sleeper - 6’4” 270 lbs is this a good choice?

This is the best review i have ever seen. I have called Stearns and they were unfamiliar with some of their products, which is crazy. They also began the, "is there anything else I can help you with", to get me off the phone. I am surprised that they did not want to take a deep dive with me and understand my concerns and educate me more. The store that we have visited doesnt seem to know as much either. We just purchased the lux estate elite med. However, the one that was delivered sinks in way more than it did in the store. Which is comfortable for us side sleepers, but I am worried the sinking will get worse and then we will be deeper in the bed. We need a supportive and relief mattress. Did we choose the wrong one? Both of use are side sleepers. What else would you choose in Sterns and foster, or another brand.

How long is the massage mode can run for?

Is Serta easy to return? Macys doesn’t accept returns.

finally a review that talks the differences between the models and seems to know alot about them... thanks.. most all other reviews i see say get the luxury firm.. but they never talk about the weight of the person.. seems to have back issues on my current bed feels like hips sinking after sleeping for couple hours.. i weigh about 120-130lbs i was a side sleeper until back issues now i sleep all positions once back starts hurts i switch. 20 times a night.. would the plush model be to soft should i get the luxury firm or will that be to stiff since i dont weight much?

Purple is trash don't buy it. Is a huge waste of money. I got one and had back problems. I'm still trying to return the damn thing within their return window. Is impossible to return.

I keep requesting firm your test keep showing medium to sofe why? Our last 3 was medium they were to soft.

Have a new modern mattress I find it so hot also I don't like turning the mattress around I prefer to flip it over

so what is the deal with the tight top medium estate (not lux). I noticed some places sell it and some don't and it is sold by the main website as well. Is it not as good or something? They are running it on a high sale of $1800 for a queen.

I have a bad back and joints and I own a Purple Hybrid and constantly have collar bone pain.(too firm)Moved it to guest room and bought the Nectar Hybrid Premier after having to sleep on my sons twin nectar Hybrid and loving it. The Hybrid Premier in my opinion allows you to sink too much and you’re fighting to shift positions. I exchanged the King Hybrid Premier for the King Hybrid Classic. Loving the Hybrid Classic. Longevity is the only question. We shall see.

I have had my high point firm for almost 3 or so years now. I would not recommend this bed at all. Especially if you have the adjustable base. Over time the top two layers on one side in the middle have come loose and bunched up. Creating a painful hump that causes you severe pain if you sleep on it. So your partner spends most nights trying to avoid the hump. Ultimately laying in my area. I purchased this bed when it was a new item. So I have about 3500$ invested in this bed. What the size of this mattress? Full or queen

I haven’t watched the video yet but I got a purple and we didn’t like it. Too soft for him and too firm for me. The RETURN process was annoying if I have paid like 2k for a mattress I should be able to just return it without taking all these pictures and folding my mattress in half and these things.

I just pulled the trigger on the Lux Estate extra firm tight top. I have no clue if I made the right choice I guess I’ll know soon. It felt good in store at least

I just replaced a Helix Midnight with a Saatva Luxury Firm 14.5" - the same as in your review. Night and day difference. Absolutely love the Saatva. It replaced a coil mattress I had for 28 years. I prefer a real mattress than a mattress-in-a-box. Loved your review and agree with all the points you made. Remember, you can always add a mattress topper to change the feel, if that is what you need.

I wish I won't be "too old" when I manage to afford one of these

What happened to the series 4 Firm summit pillow top?

Soft or weak edges really bother me. I want to sit on the edge of my bed and not sink a foot down. You don't look heavy but you really sink down on this mattress. Does this mean i should be looking for a spring coil mattress? The Hybrids seem to all be very flimsy to me.

Latex is the BEST!! Talalay, not Dunlop. I can only describe it as you feel like every inch of you is being supported, but you don't feel what is supporting you. It's crazy, the best thing I've ever slept on. I never wake up with anything hurting, and I'm old.

Ordered a King three days ago. I tried classic bit too for a dnRx but too mushy. We will see it will be reformed.

nice bed. I ultimately went with Titan plus , I"m 400 pounds and need a utilitarian matress that will be firm and hold my weight. It is only a twin XL. The price point of Winkbed was just too much for my needs and budget atm.

I watched a mattress maker open one of these up and 1: the coils didn't fill the bottom 8 inches . Also, they barely used glue to hold the metarials in place , so if you left the mattress laying upright for any amount of time, the filling will fall leaving a bulge

I've tried the Rejuvenate Premiere. It really is the best matress I've tried. Up there with the Helix Moonlight Elite. That's a good one too. The Purper cover feels hot though.

I’m looking to get a king pro smart base. Everywhere I go they keep pushing me to get a split king even though I want a non split king mattress. Are they upselling me or is there a real reason

We purchased a adjustable spilt King twin mattresses. My husband selected the Tempur-pedic ProAdapt hybrid. He really like it and it gives him support. I selected the LuxeAdapt soft. However, it really hurts my shoulder. What is the difference. We had the Sealy Posterpedic Hybrid Elite. I really like this bed, but switched for my husband. What is the difference with these mattress?

do oyu prefer these or tempurpedics?

I wish they provided you with the soft version of this mattress so you could test back and side sleeping. I like flippable mattresses and am combo sleeper and am worried the soft version would compromise spinal alignment when sleeping on my back.

Does anyone know if the lift features allow the mattress to raise up and down completely flat? Like if you want to help an elderly person get dressed flat but without having to bend over a lot.
