I’m not getting a high point firm but a soft delivered tomorrow so a little nervous lol Had a TempurPedic medium adapt that was too hard for side sleeping so hoping this will be perfect.

Excellent video. Which would feel softer, the Albany medium hybrid or the hybrid High Point firm? I’m a side sleeper.
@goodbed2 ай бұрын
Hi there, thanks for your question (and kind words!). The feels of two models are pretty close, however we found the High Point Firm to be slightly softer with slightly deeper cushioning. Here is a side-by-side comparison that shows all of the ratings that resulted from our tests of these two models: www.goodbed.com/compare/?mod=sealy-posturepedic-plus-hybrid-albany-medium&mod=sealy-posturepedic-plus-hybrid-high-point-firm I hope that's helpful.

Avoid the hybrid high point. The padding on the top of mine came loose and bunched up around where your kidneys are. And we are not rough with our things at all. We have no idea why it has done this. I have attempted to grab the cushions and pull them back into place. If the company doesn’t own up to their 10yr warranty then my only choice will be to cut the side of the bed and open it up to repair the problem then sew it back myself. I 100% do not recommend because if the the price of the mattress. If it was cheaper one I wouldn’t say nothing. But I spent 3500$ on my mattress with adjustable base. So definitely go another direction

Is the soft version the same as the Plush version?
@goodbedАй бұрын
Yes, the official name for it is the "Soft" however some retailers may refer to it as the "Plush". Here are the details on it: www.goodbed.com/mattress-model/sealy-posturepedic-plus-hybrid-high-point-soft/

How does it compare to the Stearns and Foster lux hybrid? I am 6 ft 3, 240 pounds. Which is better?
@goodbed3 ай бұрын
Hey Mark - these are built a little bit differently than the Stearns Lux Hybrids. All of the Stearns Lux Hybrid models use a unique pocket spring with fabric that encases both the coil and a foam segment, while the High Point Firm uses a more traditional hybrid design of specialty foam over typical pocket springs. You can see both of these compared here: www.goodbed.com/compare/?mod=sealy-posturepedic-plus-hybrid-high-point-firm&mod=stearns-foster-lux-hybrid-medium As to which is best - this is hard to say, but we do think the High Point Firm is likely to work for a broader range of sleepers. If you consider the Lux Hybrids, then you would likely be best on the Firm model. Hope that helps!

Don’t do it! You’re wasting your money. I am also over 6 foot and 200lbs had mine three yrs. The top padding comes loose and bunches up making a hump that causes severe pain. Definitely go another direction

Hello, I'm looking at this mattress. Does it come soft at one high point and firm at another? For a weight of 400 pounds, which one do you recommend?
@goodbedАй бұрын
Hey there! To answer your question - yes, the High Point Hybrid comes in both a soft and a firm. There isn't really a clear best between the two, but we generally recommend firmer mattresses for heavier individuals. These provide a bit more structure and still tend to be felt as somewhat soft relative to lighter sleepers. In other words, the High Point Firm could be an excellent option for you.

Thank you so much for your review! You have the best videos on mattresses! How would you compare this to the Serta iSeries 3000 in regards to comfort and quality? I tried this High Point and the Serta 1000 in the store, but haven’t tried the 3000 because they didn’t have it. Thanks in advance!

I have had my high point firm for almost 3 or so years now. I would not recommend this bed at all. Especially if you have the adjustable base. Over time the top two layers on one side in the middle have come loose and bunched up. Creating a painful hump that causes you severe pain if you sleep on it. So your partner spends most nights trying to avoid the hump. Ultimately laying in my area. I purchased this bed when it was a new item. So I have about 3500$ invested in this bed. I feel like I threw my money out the window. I feel as if this bed was made by temu
