Why worry about the " furnace " John? Calvinists aren't going there John . Only the ones God has created for HELL are going. John . We should all be grateful for faithful preachers of our Father's word, like John MacArthur! I understand, feeling convicted of sin is uncomfortable! But I would rather except the reality that WE are all wretched sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God and find salvation than to burn in hell just because we don't like being called out for our sin! Being told the truth is being loving and compassionate, not being lied to!

We need more preaching and sermons about the Horror of hell. Not just about Heaven. 😢

What is important. Believe in Jesus as the Son of God , put faith in him and what he says about himself. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus prayed to God. Jesus sent a message to his apostles; I go to my Father and your Father and my God and Your God. Have the Father and The Son.

Jesus is the Son of God. We are sons of God. Therefore Jesus is OUR BROTHER, NOT OUR GOD.

Something to think about: What if……. Jesus was created? In fact, he is the firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15), repeated at Rev 3:14 “To the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ceʹa write: These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God:” Is Jesus not the Amen? Proverbs 8:22 “Jehovah produced me as the beginning of his way, The earliest of his achievements of long ago.” Hmmm…..Jehovah produced me as the beginning of his way……. Who is the way? John 14:6 “Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”” If Proverbs 8:22 isn’t talking about Jesus, then who is it talking about? Please continue with Proverbs 8:30 “Then I was beside him as a master worker. I was the one he was especially fond of day by day; I rejoiced before him all the time;” Who could this be? It sounds like God the Father, Jehovah, who has no beginning, first created the son (see above), then, the son, being God’s master worker (Contractor, sub-contractor, as it were😀), created everything else. John 1:3 “All things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence.” I’m going to repeat Jesus’ words to Satan when he tried to tempt him at Matthew 4:10 “Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! I once heard our beloved PastorJOHN speak of Scripture containing, “double truth” so true. John does not teach, works for salvation, but rather works from salvation and an evidence of salvation. Thought: 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to show yourself approved, a workmen, who is not ashamed, but who correctly handles the word of truth.” Thank you our dear brother, John for being diligent to correctly handle the word of truth. Its rather strange that John writes that ''the word was God'', in the gospel, but in his first epistle he writes, ''He who confesses that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, he is from God''. We have to remember that John is identifying Jesus..... as the Christ. The word Christ in the Greek, is in the Hebrew, Messiah. In the list of names of our great God, you will never find....Messiah. Therefore, we misinterpret the biblical narrative if we think that God came in the flesh.

How can you base a 'fundamental doctrine' on ONE verse in the bible when so many OTHER verses, even those close to this one, say the OPPOSITE? Just read John 1:14, 18, John 5:30, John 6:29, John 8:26, John 14:28, John 20:17. Then John sums up the entire gospel this way "These things have been written that you may believe that Jesus Christ is the SON OF GOD" John 20:31. Thus some scholars are correct to examine what was really meant at John 1:1!

Why can't preachers read Gods word only and try to turn it into their word. Gods day is saterday only .ask your preacher where in the bible dose it say Sunday .sun worshipers Constitine changed it in 321 AD can't change the 4th commandment 😮

This man is confused about the sabbath. Saturday is truly the 7th day of the week. Constantine made Sunday as the day of the Lord. As a Catholic I firmly believe that the Sabbath begins Friday at twilight and ends Saturday evening at twilight.

John 1:3-4 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of mankind.

No where in the Bible does it say God changed the Sabbath to Sunday. I believe Constantine did that after he converted. The most obvious being, look at a Calander, what is the last day of the week and the 1st? It`s not Sunday and Monday.

Sunday, never been and has been the Lord's Day. Sunday is a evil's day, Satan the devil entertaining and celebration evil day of worship.

Satan will let you keep, obey, follow anything in the bible... But wont let you keep the 7th day sabbath.
