I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today is December 25. It is Christmas Day. John 1:1-14 will most likely be read in churches holding services today. We read John 1:1-18 on the Second Sunday of Christmas (January 2-5). MERRY CHRISTMAS!
