helmut walcha was a great organ player and a man that deserves admiration, due to his eyesight problem. all his interpretations have stood the test of time and secure his legacy.

Spécialiste de bach Karl Richter....mais a cette époque ce n etait pas des enregistrements tres baroques. Beaucoup trop melodiques a mon goût mais grand chef et organiste

Some have brought up Glenn Gould, and as much as I like Gould playing Bach, and as a proud Canadian, I have to say that he completely struck out with Brahms. There were many great interpreters of Brahms' work; when it comes to Opus 118, nobody is quite is as great as Radu Lupu.

Karl Richter, luego dela post guerra, rescató al genio de bach.....para mí, es una de la más bella cantata escripta por el gran genio irreemplasable de j.s.bach...sin duda.

Dvorak’s tone poems, particularly The Noonday Witch and The Water Goblin place him very much in the forefront of composers in this genre. Absolutely wonderful

Handel's music, especially these Harpsichord works, just sounds so nostalgic for some reason When I listen to these, I remember some scene I saw a long time ago.

A great version of this wonderful cantata, and we are lucky to have such a good quality recording. But there is room to like this as well as some of the more recent "historical" versions, including in particular those by the Netherlands Bach Society and the Ricercar Consort - both performed by truly great orchestras and soloists, at tempi that capture the essence of the work.

She was a phenomenal cellist and musician. I am sooo glad she recorded so much repetoir before her illness took hold. She continued to teach for the rest of her life. Her Elgar recordings literally give me chills to this day . Thank you Jackie, for gifting the world with your music! 🙏👏❤❤❤🖖
