With my X8 2022, I've lifted 340gm, but you do get the motor overload warning. The 2022 still has the power meter on the app, which tells you how hard the motors are working.

So....would you say it's worth upgrading from the x8 se 2022 v2? or just wait for the x8 tele pro model.....whenever that releases.

I'd wait unless you want the obstacle sensors. They do work to keep the drone from crashing rather well 🍻

Thank you for the response Dustin. While the slightly upgraded camera and Opst-Av is tempting, I think I’ll just wait to see if the Tele and Tele Pro bring much to the table. Considering the x8 pro is still only 4k/30 while the new Fimi Mini 3 already has been bumped up to 4k/60, I imagine THAT will be coming in the newer x8 models (and the mysterious x6 that nobody knows anything about)

Your high winds warning was the load destabilizing the drone making the gyros register what's programmed as buffeting winds.

I liked my old Fimi 8 except for a software limit on distance that couldn't be changed. Then moisture got inside the camera and fogged up the videos.

I paid €400 for FIMI X8 SE 2020 back in well, 2020 and I was really disappointed with it. I have no idea how much they have improved since then, but I think I'd rather just pay more for a proven DJI drone.

Wow....That really isn't your place now is it? Especially since you have no idea what their familial status may be. For instance, how do you know the lil one wasn't the son of his ex-wife and new husband? It's not unusual to have a child from a first marriage then remarry and have another is it? Seems that would explain it more than him just being a cruel person who treats one child differently from another. that was ghastly... not a SAR grade drone at all. Be honest man. The flight was erratic and full of errors popping up on the screen. The payload capacity is a joke. You can't hear the speaker over the noise of the drone. It's a toy not a proper SAR level drone.

I don't know about signal penetration? But when you can fly them further than mavik air mavik air 2. Mavik pro 2 then still not sure about the signal penetration if referring to just being under cover of trees.. Hmm

Signal needs to go from remote to drone. If trees and hills are blocking that line (which you saw here when I descended near my boys) video and control are compromised as explained in the video 🍻

@camposvazquez it's good up to about 30-40mph winds then you hit a wall or it pushes the drone. They all have a similar rating at this size and weight 🍻
