When those OBSs were first introduced in 1988, they only came in plain & new extended cab pickup models at the time because the crew cab pickup & SUV models with the previous square body design were still in production up through 1991.

Yeah I forgot to mention that! Because I thought it was odd that the Ram brand rolls over their older trucks but I found out in researching this that Chevy did that all those years ago!

Bro, if other Christians were anything like you, I would surround myself with Christians. You represent VERY well. All my respect! 👍 The reality is: (aside from yourself) atheists are FAR kinder, more considerate, etc. than 95% of religious folk.
@AlphaShark

You’re right, a lot of people who claim to follow Christ are judgmental, angry and do not heed the call of Christ throughout the gospel. Whenever I encounter an atheist or agnostic I completely understand why they don’t like the church. If following Christ meant I had to act like that type of church people, I wouldn’t follow Jesus. But thankfully the reality of a relationship with my Heavenly Father is far from what those people portray. I have dedicated my life to showing people what a relationship with Jesus actually looks like according to scripture, not just what a person calling themselves Christian might say. Cw, I hope you too can accept Christ as your savior, that you can see Him for who he truly is, apart from what Christianity has been portrayed to you as. He loves you more than you could ever imagine, and he absolutely would love a relationship with you. 😊

According to 1 A Auto Tips and Repair blog Under Pro Tips: They say "Heated truck seats were first introduced... In the early 1980s..." I did not see where they back this claim up with any examples, however. Maybe reaching out to them would give you additional information. Great video, enjoyed watching. I tried to post the link to, the blog but KZbin is not allowing me too I will text it to you

We test drove one of these at a local dealer (Arkansas). When the salesman opened up the drivers door I had to step back because the smell of smoke hit my face. I laughed it off, made a comment that the previous owner was certainly rude to do that. I then opened up the back door to see how roomy the back seat legroom was. That’s when then the smell got waaaay worse. It was the distinct odor of weed. Ugh, just ugh. So we opened the windows and went ahead and took it for a test drive. While test driving I poked around as my husband drove. Sure enough there was a receipt in the glove box for some sort of weed shop in Maryland. Salesman reassured me that they could get the odor out with an ozone machine. As he was talking, I noticed that the door frame had an Impounded sticker on it. I burst out laughing because it all made sense. The car was registered in Virginia. Visiting weed shops in Maryland. White powder I had assumed was baby formula on the backseat. No. We discussed it that evening and we weren’t getting what we decided was obviously a mule car for our son to drive. The K-9 units would be following him down the street …. especially if there was product hidden behind door panels or elsewhere that they didn’t find when they impounded it. Nice car other than that.

Yes but their used car lot. This one appeared to have come from the auction. We’ve noticed a tendency in our local dealers to forego the cleaning of the vehicle with the ones that sell easily. We’ve test driven a few at 3 different dealers that you could tell they fully expected us to clean it up ourselves. My husband and son are looking at one in Norman, OK today and it was clearly detailed in the photos.

Bought new 2023 Custom 2.7 turbo Crew 4X4 posi 7 months ago. Had 40 miles on it. Sticker $50,500. Marked down to $39,000, then deducted GM card earnings to $36,800. 6,000 miles so far. No issues. Wasn't willing to pay additional $6k for a 5.3 truck that has 47 less lb ft of torque, gets worse mpg,.... not to mention cylinder deactivation lifter issues. When the 4 bang was 1st introduced in Silverado/Sierra, I thought that was lunacy. Once the engine revisions jumped torque (& tow rating) up from 348 lb ft to 430, I had to research. No regrets.

@@AlphaShark Traded in 2016 Silverado Double Cab Z71 w/ 5.3 -70k miles. Stickered @ $44,685, bought new for $30,000, & 7 yrs later, received $25,000 trade-in. So, the 2023 Custom Crew cab 4X4 posi, comparably equipped (pwr seat, windows, heated mirrors, rear window defog, air, remote start, power release tailgate, 20" wheels) w/ a lot more safety features, (collision alert, keep lane assist, auto high beam), w/ 12% more torque. better mpg, similar towing/payload, not that much more expensive 7 yrs later & old truck didn't depreciate much.

I own a Chrysler 300c Platnium Hemi, but much prefer the Charger Dash and Gear Shifter. My neighbor just bought one of these in White, but the Dealer installed a Gray Bubblebee stripe which is gorgeous. I thought it was a Swinger when he first brought the car home last week. I would have no problem with the 3.6L V6, very quick engine. You are wrong, the V6 has plenty of power and there is nothing wrong with header light assembly.

I bought a 2023 Tacoma SR5 v6 4wd to avoid the new stuff. As soon as I heard the v6 was going away I went and found a Double cab LB in Silver that was waiting to be shipped and reserved it. Drove 6 hours to get it. I am at almost 13k miles and no issues. Got it tuned around 6k with Overland Torque tune. My axle was checked for the recall and all good. Cool thing is the 23 comes with the power seat and radar cruise.

With Overland torque tune the 3rd gen wins easily. Just as much power and way better fuel economy. I have been getting over 24 mpg doing 80-85mph in my 23 V6 4wd SR5. You would never get that in the 2nd gen. 3rd gen looks better and the interior is nicer. The 2nd gen is slightly more reliable but I have seen several of both gens with 300k+ miles before needing major repairs. They should have made the 4.0 direct and port injected and mated it to the 6 speed auto. That would have been something!
