According to 1 A Auto Tips and Repair blog Under Pro Tips: They say "Heated truck seats were first introduced... In the early 1980s..." I did not see where they back this claim up with any examples, however. Maybe reaching out to them would give you additional information. Great video, enjoyed watching. Three things I like about heated seats, 1- Heating the right passanger seats before picking up your gf for a date, she immediately feels like home, doesnt regret leaving her home and gives you a better kiss 2- you can open the windows in the winter to listen to the nature and let fresh air in fast during the sightseeting 3- Warming up yourself without needing to max AC fan and avoiding noise

not that i found a factory button but if you go online and search up 1997 Ford F-150 heated seats there would be a wiring diagram for the heated seats. Plus i have a 97 XLT trim and when i did research on the 10th generation F-150 especially the 97 models I read that the Lariet came with leather and heated front bucket seats
