Lol I bought it on sale a few months back and have loved it ever since, especially the skill trees, and there are breakthrough points i.e. levels and that's only 3 so technically once you use all your breakthrough points you have reached max level, definally a skill based game and by that I mean once you understand the mechanics and have had enough encounters your skill will improve

LOVED the guide since I just decided to finaly try this game after years, but dam dude... if you gonna add some "background" music to a guide at least make the "music" WAY LOWER than your voice... I had to go back even 3 times to be SURE I understood cause music was WAY TO LOUD, but amazing guide still.

Apparently though, from what I've read elsewhere, DEX & STR don't affect damage dealt with their respective weapons....yet, conversely, increasing INT does increase spell damage (as well as lower cooldown periods). "Offence / Defence Rating" is, so I've read, the chance of hitting / being hit, and is not to do with the amount of damage dealt. Also, here's some v useful info re AP - "Max AP (on any given turn, I assume) = 7 + CON", "Starting AP = (PER + SPD) x 0.5", and "Turn AP = 3.5 + (SPD x 0.5)

I subscribed on the bases that you hate your voice alone, lmao. I have my own tiny channel, but I've sat through hours on top of hours of having to hear my own voice while editing, ugh. I've always hated my own voice, especially on any kind of recording device. So, I feel your pain there man. If it helps, I actually like your voice, and I really like that you put your mess ups in. It makes ya feel kinda stupid, speaking from my own experience here, but I believe it makes you more relatable. Great video, and I can't wait to dig deeper into your content. Recently got a laptop, so I've been digging around on Steam. Found The Witcher 1-2 Enhanced Editions so I was totally down, cuz like most, I loved 3. Although you didn't answer my original question, I feel the tips you provided here will be a great help. Btw, my original question was, when you start a new game it gives you a choice of game modes "Witcher" or "New adventures". And I'm not sure which to pick. What is the difference? Is the new adventures one after the events in the game? That being said, your video was still helpful and you got a sub and a like out of it so I see that as win/win. Brand new to pc gaming. Happy to start with enhanced. Became a fan from the Netflix show. In my Witcher era and working on my own leather Netflix season one brown armor for cosplay and Ren Faires. Also have a real wood Gwent board and real card decks. We have the Witcher: Adventure Boardgame, the all in Kickstarter Old World game board Kickstarter set (not played yet) and ordered the Witcher: Path of Destiny board game all in set. We are in book 2 , Sword of Destiny.

Hint for console, if you force close when your character dies, it does not auto save as soon as you die but once you click to go to the next screen, if you force close on the “blank” died, the game will reset to the morning of the day before you died. So you will have to redo any crafting you did during the day before your character died
