Nisargadatta had a very own way to be (Psyche) and from that Background he explained on his own psychological way. It means he was so directly, without so many words..."if you listen stay and if you not get lost". For the Ego this could be very hard and heavy, even like an attack. But that doesn't mean that Nisargadatta was better Enlightned master as others, like Ramana Maharshi, etc. Nisargadatta himself had a big respect for Anandamayi Ma, a woman who was the total opposite way to him. I mean the way (Psychological structure, the cultural Background) of Anandamayi was very soft. A woman always smiling with great easy to talk. It is the Ego of many viewers who make distinctions and classify amongs "Enlightment masters".

Having spoken Marathi growing up It is a humbling experience to understand what Maharaj is speaking here. The transliteration always comes with errors. For example @14:39 “translator” is talking BS because Maharaj never said any such thing.

The excessivelly noisy parts of this vvieo clip (like the honking of the cars) shoud have been removed and Nisargadatta' words uttered during that noise could have been quoted textually. Its very irritating botth physcially to the ear and spiritually. Arjuna J.

I just wanted to say thank you for uploading these interviews! I'm sure I've heard similar things said many times. I think the way they insist on going back to "the basics" over and over is helpful in seeing that you really need to SEE (or confirm as they say) that first. After that is seen, the usual doubts and questions can arise but they will hopefully just serve as a reminder to go back to the basics again: Are you the one who feels to BE in need of resolution of doubt, or are you the condition in which "need for resolution" appears. Is that one affected negatively by doubt? Thanks again ❤

Did Niz ever describe his realization event? I have never seen it. It might have been unnoticeable possibly, but is there any account? He says it took him 4 years, and that he wasn't meditating formally at a set time, etc. Any hints?

I've made a great mistake of confusing the Buddhist idea of detachment and apathy. I thought it I was able to detach from my mind and everything that arises in it I would be able to still my ADHD mind and the troubles of rejection sensitivity dysphoria, but I think I just made deep freeze of my emotions so even now while I act as if I'm enjoying myself I don't fully feel the emotions I should be feeling. How do I detach from the chaos of my mind while still being attached to love and all the positivity that comes with it?

How it happened in me It's very simple (when you realize it) Only physical pain exists (and the body will always handle it) The mental gymnastics of ideas is what we call suffering. Suffering is absolutely not necessary. When you have had enough of suffering, you will understand how not to pay attention to mental gymnastics. Over time, mental suffering will literally stop nagging you. Then you are always in PEACE within. Fear, desire, thought no longer have any attraction for you. God power is within - that’s exactly the meaning.

It’s great seeing the real translation in writing. Apparently Maharaj noticed the discrepancies between his own words and those of the translator and found one he could trust 😊

He's like the opposite of Ramana Maharshi who didn't talk very much. This guy gets frustrated that people don't understand. Same teaching but different approaches.

Re Ramana Maharshi.. GURU:"For whom is this problem?" Seeker: "For me..I have the problem!" GURU: "Who/what is this me/I/you with a problem!?" Seeker: "I, ME...a person!" GURU: "Are you really just a person ..an ego?" Seeker:"Of course Not! I am That which owns or has a person or ego!...i am NOT the ego!!" "WOW..now there's no longer any PROBLEM!!" GURU: No ego...no problem!!! 😂😂😂

My direct experience is that I FEEL my true or present "self/nature/aliveness/being"...I don't SEE it, I FEEL IT! Once I FEEL me or my self, then I can somewhat SEE that I am NOT a body, mind, thoughts, emotions, or any other SEPARATE "object"! I, this FEELING, simply am! ...but NOT the person/object I was taught to believe is me! This my Reality thus far! ❤

Seeking takes you away from the truth of who you are because the mind is turned outwards looking for something to add to who you are because you don’t feel like you are enough or whole. When the seeking energy stops, the mind goes incredibly still and there you are, right there where you always have been. You see the story of you, your mistaken mind made identity, including the story of the seeker, as a fallacy and you are left with pure being, love and awareness. The mind remains quiet after this seeing.
