Expand the ( video ) scope of your AT Travels. At the Stops ... show more of what you do and what’s going on there. Walking, talking and Riley are fine but include more interaction with others.

Well done to you both today. I have a Staffordshire bull terrier who also whines and barks if I stay still too long on a walk it's just in their nature I guess. I hope you and Riley are both eating well and keeping hydrated . Big hug for Riley ❤

Do you have T-Mobile, if you do they have a 5g hotspot for 25$ a month. If you don't it's 50. But it's pretty good and it would allow you to be uploading as you walk, that is with signal. But when it does it's just as fast as a home wifi speed. Just a thought

No worries, I know it will work for you, and it's not slow Internet ,I'm in SC 40 min south of Asheville NC, so if you run into trouble just ask.

@podshomestead-wt2li thanks again for your suggestion! I also have an ancient iPhone 8, which I find is not compatible with the 5g network. I probably just need a newer phone! For now, I will probably just accept delays in posting videos and try to enjoy the hike :)

Loved the 'worm', a millepede. Also, looking forward to hearing more about mushrooms you find. Be careful with them... Happy hiking. Hope that Riley is happily ensconced in the kennel. I am sure he'll be happy to see you again.

I am enjoying your hike. It is amazing that you pass through 14 States. You go through the State in which I live, to reach the end, but 'only' as far to Mt. Katahdin. I always thought it went further north, but there you go.

Bears in Tahoe's Desolation Wilderness have figured out how to compromise Ursaks and bear canisters are now required there. They just stick a claw point in the same spot and yank for a bit until food powder comes out. They need defending, which people weren't doing. You might do better w/ Riley barking and scaring them off.

I don't know how you were able to sleep on one of those 1/8" pads. I typically use them as a layer against granite for my air pad. But with all of the hiker box finds, "The Trail Provides" is holding true.
