Day 15 | Appalachian Trail thru-hike NoBo 2024

I dropped Riley off with Loving Care Kennels in the morning (since dogs are not allowed in Great Smoky Mountains National Park) and then hiked 12.0 miles from Fontana Dam shelter to Mollies Ridge shelter at mile 178.0.

Loved the 'worm', a millepede. Also, looking forward to hearing more about mushrooms you find. Be careful with them... Happy hiking. Hope that Riley is happily ensconced in the kennel. I am sure he'll be happy to see you again.
