Riley and I hiked 12.5 miles from our campsite on Ramrock Mountain (mile 18.9) to a campsite at Neel Gap (mile 31.4). We got caught in a heavy downpour ascending Blood Mountain and we’re able to take cover when we got to Blood Mountain shelter. The rain then stopped and the sun came out, allowing us to make it to Neel Gap!
