Does the Integra also have that jerky shifting on the manual? Or did they fix the rear motormount on these? Thats the only thing I dont like about my FC1 1.5T Manual... That when you try to drive it smoothly at normal speeds, that it slightly jerks a bit on shifting, unless you let it slip more. Nice car dude, wish they sold these in Europe.

@@wheats0276 Meh, suppose you can also fit the PRL motormount to fix it. Haven't gotten around to it myself. Partnumber is PRL-HC10-RMM for the civic. You'd have to check if it fits the Integra too.

@The_Noticer. You guys get way better cars than we do. Plus you get more options than we do. We don't have brands like Skoda, Renault, etc etc. No vw polo, or lupo 😔. No honda city, no diesel options when it comes to cars.

@@wheats0276 Any notice in better MPG? Every car I put a SRI on, they gain a little if my foots not in it. (disregard the nay-sayer about lost HP, you probably gain TQ in a differ part due to better air flow.)

I don't have this on the car anymore as I thought about selling the vehicle for something else. However for the few thousand miles the intake was on the car I did not experience any issues.

Not really. You can just take it off if something happens with the car and take it into the dealership. They would have no idea.

Well yea its normal turbo heat soack = lost of power up to 100-50HP!! the all consept of a turbo is to suck cold air outside into the engine to get boost the colder the better but thats not always true I say max 70F and max for cold 50F but preferbaly 57

With more grip, it can do better (maybe high 5s) but 6.5s is pretty good for this car's power rating.

I didn't when it was on. I took it off for this video and to take it in for an oil change. I actually have not put it back on at the moment.

I'm 45 when I was in high school a Camaro SS stock might hit this number. 252 horse But the star is the 10 speed! Just bought 2.0T I have to try it but I hear if you start off in 2nd gear better results. These are fantastic results you've got with a bone stock Accord.

Even better here it was the EX-L with the 17” bulbous all seasons. Better the 2.0t sports with 18” wheels and less sidewall tires can get slightly better traction.

I'm shocked that this car isn't faster than my older S4 Audi. I have a 2006 Audi S4 Avant wagon and it casually does 12 second passes. I honestly expected the newer Type R's to be a bit more impressive. Was thinking mid to low 12s in a quarter mile!

Mmmm…. Its really that 0-60 and getting off the line. Its not surprising (not even in the slightest) that an AWD S4 has a quicker 1/4 mile. Though most archived reviews of the B6 S4 show anywhere from low to mid 13’s with a trap of 101-103mph. The Type traps up at 107-108mph. Once its rolling it moves out rather quickly.

Ah no chance of course the s4 is faster bc AWD. S4 will have a much lower 60 foot like 1.9-2.0 but it will trap alot lower 102 or 103.

Have you noticed any problem with heat? Really leaning towards this intake but worried about heat soak.

No. But I don’t have real temperature data. The intake does look like it would do a good job at keeping heat away from the intake filter as the oem air inlet from front bumper is being used, and the box seems to seal itself from the engine nicely. Im sure it not as good as the stock box, but doesn’t look like it would be bad.

The one on the right you can scroll on the steering wheel to the option where it says “no info diplayed” and it will show no info. Then the one on the left you scroll to “display options” click into it then click “audio/clock” and select not to display audio/clock and it will go away

No... It IS good practice to always disconnect the battery when doing aftermarket installs to a vehicle. However I did not disconnect the battery.
