Yes, the phrase "at my current level of understanding" is so important, and yet we don't have this at the forefront of our thoughts. "You don't know what you don't know" is quite profound! The possibility of being able to change beliefs is actually life changing! To refocus your thoughts and perspective is an exciting prospect and can only lead to a wider knowledge and greater personal understanding.

Beautiful. Creating space doesn't mean fill it with new stuff. But let fresh energy flow and not get stagnant on stuff creating negetive energy

Oh, my first experience of that kind... I probably didn't have an idea what happened. I had big inner trouble that time. I called it a "demon". That means I had really destructive thoughts, and I didn't identify with them. It was dreadful, and I think I would have committed suicide unless I was afraid that having a body was my tiny little protection... I had this "demon" for years, and in the last year he focused on letting me commit suicide. And I got socially really difficult that year, coming into a room and begging for pardon if there are already people there (and that in the kitchen of our living community!). 🙄 So I was in complete despair. And one evening I somehow quit trying to be strong and that stuff, and I lied on the carpet in my partner's room and told him the first time about the demon and that I struggle against it. He looked at me and asked: "Who is the one who struggles?" I had no answer. But when I went back to bed, the demon suggested a method to kill myself immediately. And then the question came into my mind, "Who's the one who struggles?" - and I felt my heart, flailing like a bird. It was so... gentle. And that moment the demon ascended to the heaven. I can't explain how I sensed it, but it was obvious to me. And in the same moment it was obvious that he never had existed. It never came back. For some months, I felt like coming out of a hospital or something like that. Everything was new, but I never before felt so slow! Well, and it had become easy to recognize negative thoughts and simply stop them. Well, I later had much happier experiences, but I think it started with the demon.

There are *two* things I got from this video: 1. A confirmation, that it's easier to pick up some things that I want to keep instead of picking up some things I want to get rid of. alWhen I started decluttering, I wanted to sort out at least 3 things every day. I lost patience with this method, because it's stressful (especially when you try to do it just before you have to go to work!) and inefficient. Today I sorted out approximately 130 books in less than 2 hours, including cleaning them a bit from dust. In addition to your video I can say that it's helpful to think of how a book influenced you and to take it to a place where a younger person might find it and can learn from the same spirit. 2. The idea to make space for the person I'm going to become or that I already am. I love this idea, and I totally agree!

Every thing is energy. I cleared old files, photoes, books l knew l would never read. Clothes l swore would fit. Art clutter from walls. Swedish death cleaning at 64. I can breath.

It's weird: I have no problem letting go/selling off antiques, jewelry, clothes, shoes, etc, but when it comes to my books & DVDs it's like pulling teeth. I hear that's how some new bookstores get started...😅

I love that you pointed out the spiritual aspects of decluttering our homes. It's more than just creating the physical space in our homes, it's about detaching from the material world and redirecting our focus inward.

I just recently was dealing with Covid, and I was doing Jin Shin Jyutsu both before and during it. The emotions I felt during it was probably best described as terror, fear and anxiety although my physical symptoms were more mild than the flu. I've been doing the Main Central Flow daily because I realize that this kind of mental stress is not good for me. The practice does calm me considerably.
