Man iv been trying to sell my 2011 23lsv with 1000hrs for 38,500 and cant get it sold. Which is an insane deal boats clean, all original upholstery in good shape,770 sacks, shaper, but nothing.

What don’t you like about the Gen 1 surf systems? I’ve seen a few used boats in this ago range that have what I assume are aftermarket tabs added on, so curious if you could help provide some help on what to look for? I’d greatly prefer a boat that has surf tabs built in, but not if they are not going to be any good :-).

I'll help the algorithm... Every single thing guy said is 100% accurate. I have a 2003 X2 and have essentially done all the upgrades mentioned. I have 850's in the lockers because I still want room for nets to hold jackets and stuff. KGB bag was replaced with a 350 universal that I can get about 300 in, and I have bow bags under the front seat to give me another 400, I upgraded to four reversible pumps, all new hoses, wiring and switches. I do also have 600# of lead scattered around the boat. I agree that 3000 pounds of ballast is a good number to shoot for in these little boats, add one or two people and you'll have plenty of push.. The stock MCX makes plenty of power, but you will ABSOLUTELY need a prop.

Hey swell wakesurf! I xurrently am also redoing a supra launch 21v! I saw you added after market "fingers" on the wake tower swivvel rack for wake/surf boards! What did you put on there? Where can i find some like it?

I have this exact same set up, wakeurf creator 2.0 and a 2004 Super Air Naut with stock ballast. The boat is new to me and I can't seem to generate a clean wake with enough push to let go of the rope. I've surfed newer boats with better wake systems but I have videos of my boat's previous owner surfing behind it, no problem. Does the nautique in this video have extra ballast? I was going to add some additional bags in the rear lockers and maybe some up front. But I should be able to surf it as is and I just can't figure it out. I've angled the wedge and moved it up and down but I seem to be missing something.

Can I get a template from you. I have same boat. Gator said they don’t have a template for 2006 247 Lsv

If you take out the side locker support bars the tanks come out in one piece no problem. Way easier than cutting

I see a number of 2016 -2017 Heyday WT-1 models (center console) that are at the 30k mark…Are those decent entry level boats for surfing or would you recommend going for an older boat like the MasterCraft mentioned here? Excellent video - Great info!

Would be curious to hear why you're not a fan of the centurions? I've always thought of centurion and tige v-drives from the mid 2000's as being far ahead of a ton of the other manufacturers in this era as far having hull shapes conducive to surfing. They both have heavier dry weights, as well as deeper V hulls that in tandem displace more.

Great video! Would love more like this but looking at multiple boat listings in this same price range. Its hard to know all the little nuances of boat brands and models. For example, didnt know the Natique 211 is a crossover boat til you mentioned it. So would be good to know more models and which are best to convert. Going through various listings may be a good way.
