Thanks SWELL Wakesurf for the DIY videos! Any recommendations on frequency for changing the transmission fluid?

We put 70-90 hours a season on our boat and we do it once a season, we just use a transfer pump to pump it out and replace the fluid, same with the v-drive fluid if you have it separate.

Can you make a video or do you have one on how you add the antifreeze? What hose do you pour it in? I have a 2007 moomba with a 325 indmar.

How do you ensure the antifreeze is actually in the block without removing the thermostat?

We make sure the boat is at operating temperature before we run the antifreeze thru to ensure the thermostat is open

Why drain the block if you just turn around and fill with RV fluid…..? I’ve always just sucked in RV fluid with a fake lake after my oil change and never a problem!

That can work. Just make sure engine is up to temp, otherwise thermostat won’t open and the antifreeze won’t get everywhere. Thats why we like to drain the block.
