Hi, a new subscriber here. I’m planning on moving to Saudi and I started my research which led me to your channel. I got really good info, thank you. Could you please tell us how much one would spend in naira from the licensing exams and all ? Also, how long would it take for someone to secure a job after passing the licensing exams at most? Again, how to apply. Is it better through agents or online. Would really appreciate if you could do a video on that. Thank you 🙏🏻

Hello Dr. Glad to read this. There is a video of mine on the steps to move to Saudi in which I gave the ranges for the various steps. However with the value of naira now, you will have to convert to have an idea of the overall cost but it is still pretty expensive. Usually, the hospitals here employ via agencies and unfortunately, I don't know of any functional one currently. The one that I used stopped working for a while. I wish you all the best in your moves to come over

Alright, thank you. What about the average time spent from passing the SMLE and securing a job?
@DrTabat2 күн бұрын
@khadeejahharun7676 that would actually depend on the efficiency of the agencies in securing you a job...I think the earliest is 3 months though...but it's usually around 6 months or so

You actually have a since of humor, which some Drs. don't. I think it's ok helping others , but they keep coming like a bad cold. Sometimes you have to say no for you financial security and peace of mind.
@DrTabat23 күн бұрын
Medicine usually beats that humor out of us!! It's really not easy. To be rich no easy sha & to make it, one has to make some hard calls just as you clearly stated. Thanks for watching ma

Can you do medical residency training in Saudi Arabia and do you have any application link?
@DrTabatАй бұрын
Yes you can. I do not have any application link. What you can do is research online about the various institutions that offer the Specialty of your choice and their requirements. I did a video on that stating the steps but each institution will have their peculiarities also. All the best in your pursuit

Hey just concerned about time management as a female doc. Will I be able to provide time to my family and take responsibilities if I become surgeon?
@DrTabatАй бұрын
This is one of the major struggles female physicians with families face. The job demands your all, and so does the family. Work-family balance is quite difficult, and for most, one aspect suffers more for the other. The truth about life is that everything comes at a price, and the question we have to ask ourselves is if it is worth it. There are a lot of successful female surgeons all around the world. Meeting some of them to share how they were able to pull it off will be the advise that I can give at this point.

@DrTabat2 ай бұрын
That will depend on some factors like where you trained and practice, what procedures you do and other factors like the hospital employing you and your job description. The good thing is that money is quite good and will be stated in your contract for you to choose to accept or not.
