good video first... how long does the entire processing take? So hand over your suitcase waiting times and landed in Osaka pick up your suitcase again Is it similar to international flights that you have to be there 2.5 hours beforehand? Is it worth flying or is it a waste of time?

Thanks for the comment. The process was very easy. They had these bagage drop off machine that I honestly didn’t understand so a JAL employee did it for me. Security was efficient. Usually 2,5 is more then enough time. Maybe even a bit too much. I’d say flying was worth it since you save much time that way

Lovely trip report. Not a good first impression from China Southern Airlines; and to my surprise they'd give you a refund. Service on Cathay Pacific Airlines was great

Thanks :) The service was good. I’d give it a solid 8. The crew responded swiftly to requests in a friendly manner. I checked 2 bags even.

I booked a full business class ticket and I got downgraded to economy on the HKG-BKK part of the flight. You don't believe it...oh well. Have fun with that :)

When you buy a airline ticket, there is a agreement between you and the airliner. The small print is meaningless. Unfair practice no longer work. There are lawyers like to take on your case. The lawyers will negotiate with the airline on your behalf. The will get you a substantial amount of compensation (and split the compensation). Tell your lawyers that your are distressed ,insulted and suffered by the airline's unreasoning action. If you are a Hong Kong resident, your winning chance is not great due to impotent officials and if you are not use your own country's law to get you justice. Send you unfair treatment to Mr. Elson Musk and he will get you justice. Fight the corruption.

dudes full of 💩💩💩💩 he never booked business class in the first place. always booked economy. they dont stand at the front waiting for you to get off the plane to downgrade you. thats NOT how it works. everything this dude says is complete and utter 💩. im a very frequent flyer and thats not how it works. you dont get off the plane and enter the arrival hall and someone is waiting to downgrade you. complete bs. you are either downgraded at check in because they KNOW they are overbooked at your checkin or you are NOT downgraded at all. this guy is full of it. cheap dude trying to make content and seem baller

Thanks for the video. I flew this exact same route in August and I have a video uploaded of that trip but the meals look way better on the previous flight, the salmon looks quite sad tbh! I hope you still enjoyed it!

Oh yes, 2,5 hours will be more than fine. You will definitely be on time then unless they have staff shortage like 2 years ago. But other then that you’re good 👍🏼

COMPLAINED TO AIRASIA STAFF IN THAILAND ABOUT MY LUGGAGE WAS DAMAGED BY AIRASIA AND AIRASIA STAFF CALLED FOR SECURITY GUARD TO SCARE ME. I AM NOT THE CRIMINAL, I REPORTED TO YOU THAT YOU HAVE DAMAGED MY BAG. THREE SECURITY GUARDS CAME STOOD THERE AND SAY NOTHING. I ASKED WHY SHE THINK SHE NEEDS SECURITY GUARD, THE GUARDS WERE QUIET. I TOOK OUT MY AUTHORITY ID AND SHOWED IT TO THE GUARDS AND ALL OF THEM WALK OUT OF THE ROOM. DONT FLY WITH AIRASIA! LET THEM GO BURST!

Air Asia gave never a refund for my already booked planeticket in the Covid year 2020. The borderlines was closed that i can't travel tot Thailand. The answer from Air Asia is that i not be there on the flight date, that means that i,'m in fault.

I've flown them many time from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 to Sandakan Airport, Sabah and it was a nice experience. AirAsia is a budget airline, what do you expect?

Legends said, Airasia still haven't return the money for flights they've cancelled during covid times. Yes Airasia is very good in 'stealing' people's money and even we Malaysians hate airasia. The reason it is still doing well is because there arent many competitors in MY space so there's always market for affordability that supports airasia regardless how bad and unhonest airasia is.

Thanks :) Yeah they do tend to hold you to the weight limitation for checked bags. Carry on was not checked weight-wise at any point. Since it was a short domestic hop we didn’t get a full meal. We did get a snack and a drink

What’s the weight for checked baggage? Is it the same weight requirement for all of Japan’s Airlines?

@pirella15 The checked bag weight limit was 20kg. Any additional weight was I believe 440 per kilo. For business class it was 45kg but I was in economy
