I have a question about the positive ease thing 🙈 so the pattern says bust measurement with 15cm of positive ease.. does the measurement/ stitchcount include the 15cm or is it added on top? So if my bust measures 97cm do I pick size c (95) or do I add 15cm on top and pick e (115)? I’m a little confused about that in the pattern but my English might just be lagging a bit 😅

Would I bind off with the same method you show with the needle and sets of 4 stitches if I did 2x2 ribbing instead of 1x1?

there's something i can't wrap my head around. when we start knitting the main body of the sweater, we switch the BOR from the middle-back of the sweater to under the armpit. doesn't that mean that one side of the sweater will have more stitches? (the part between the middle of the back and the new BOR?)

i haven't gotten around to knitting socks yet but my all time preferred cast on and cast off is the tubular or italian, they are really really stretchy though they only really work on 1x1 rib

Hi! Thank you for sharing your patterns and tutorials ❤ I'm trying to make the km scarf but getting a little confused after the Turkish cast on. Do I just keep knitting or do I need to follow a technique to get into knitting magic loop? I can't find anyone talking about this on YT or blogs so feel like I must be overthinking it. Please help 😊😅

I made one of your other sweaters a year or two ago, as my first ever sweater as a new knitter. I am now attempting this one (for the second time as I ripped out my first attempt well past the sleeve division)… as a still beginner and not much improved knitter. I find crocheting so much easier, but I learned that as a child. The hardest part is correcting a mistake I discover a row or more later, and losing stitches on accident, then I am basically stuck without the ability or knowledge to fix it. Thank you for the easy to understand and follow pattern and video demonstration! You are very talented and lovely ❤

Very silly question from a total newbie here. Would it be possible to make this sweater with thinner yarn/needles (let's say 3.5 and 4.5 mm) and simply increase the number of stitches to make it the right size? I would very much like to make a sweater, but all of the beginner ones I can find are a bit too bulky for my liking.

Hi! If using Drops Air and 6 mm needles for the main parts and 5 mm needles for the rib sections should I cast on the same amount of stitches as in pattern? Won’t it be too loose with 6 mm needles?

I just finished my first year of knitting and knitted your sweater as my first exactly a year ago. Since then I've watched many many knitting tutorials and this video is by far the best I've seen. It is so clear, approachable and inspiring. Such nice explanation of yarns, tools and techniques. So nostalgic watching it again : ) Also when I first started knitting I was a very slow English thrower and was mesmerised by the speed and ease in how you knit. After a lot of muscle memory practice I flick like you with comfort and ease.

I have been wanting to learn how to knit for a while now but haven’t found anyone as detailed but easy to understand as you. I am also a visual as well as a listener learner. Someone in the comments said something about “needing to be a mathematician”. They are not wrong. A mathematician I am not. That is why I have such a hard time following patterns only. When you have to deviate or adjust a pattern to fit yourself, that is where things go sideways. 😂 I have become a subscriber and hope to be able to make many more of your patterns. 😊

After doing German Short Rows and starting the normal raglan increases, when doing the first round 1 repeat four times do you pass the BOR marker in between the 2nd and 3rd repeat? Then I had to K over the first two raglan (repeats 1 & 2) sections to get to BOR again. That's what mine ended up doing and I'm not sure if that's correct.
